Hello, all you wonderful people (who I have yet to actually talk to)!

I joined this forum late last night, so I didn't get the chance to really talk to too many people. Oh, and look, here I am again at 3 AM... tsk tsk, I'll have to pop back in tomorrow (er, um later today).

I started watching Buffy back when season 2 was on-air. The only episode I specifically remember from back then was "Killed by Death." I was so utterly terrified of that death demon-thing that I swore I'd never watch the show again. I was 7 years old...

12 years later, I saw that all 7 seasons of Buffy were on Netflix (hallelujah!), launching my month-long Buffy marathon. It's safe to say that I've renounced my old ways... even though that death-demon-thing is still freaky (I'm just glad I never saw "The Gentlemen" episode when I was 7...).

My favorite season is season 2 (I was cursing Angel aloud through the whole scene when Giles finds Miss. Calendar in his apartment).

My least favorite season: Season 5. I hated the Dawn story-line.

Favorite Character(s): I don't think I'll ever be able to choose between Giles and Spike. It's just not humanly possible. Oh, and no it has nothing to do with the British accents (omg I'm so kidding, it totally does 😉 ).

Favorite episode: A tie between "Band Candy" and "The Body" (Although "Once More, With Feeling" is of epic proportions as well).

I like a lot of things, but I usually go through stages of "loving" one "thing" at a time. For many years, it was, uh, Harry Potter. Then Jane Austen, Star Trek, Heroes, Dexter, and now Buffy. I've just started to watch Angel (currently on season 2). I like it, but I am fully aware that it is a completely different kind of show compared to Buffy, and I find it intriguing *evilly strokes imaginary goatee* . Oh, and my dad is a HUGE Firefly fan. Seriously, mention it, and he'll go on a tirade about how networks never keep around the best shows.

Holy chicken, I just wrote a short story right there, didn't I? Aha! Ahem...

Well, anyway, I just wanted to stop by and say hi (plus all that extra stuff that came afterward)!

So glad you made it love your post. I am still a little creeped out by the killed by death episode. He isn't scary he just has this creep factor lol.

I like the post above me want to know if you are a bangel or Spuffy or both? 😉

I am most definitely Spuffy. But, I definitely like the whole "cookie dough" idea. While Angel and Spike both have their attributes, I can't help but want the best for Buffy. Neither of those boys could provide a healthy romantic relationship for her, in my opinion...

But, um, yeah, TOTALLY Spuffy! 😀

Lol and I see we have another Spuffy. I like what you said though about the cookie dough thing. I like both but most of the time I am a Spuffy.
I agree with you that the best for Buffy isn't them in general. Sometimes I feel that they are the best though in a sense because they are fighters and that is what she is always going to be. Do you ever feel the same?

Oh, I totally agree with that. Just like two people I know in real life. Others look at them and say, "How did THOSE two get together?" And I say, "Because she's hilarious, and needs somebody else to be hilarious with." They're similar people, which is probably why they're attracted to each other, but it doesn't necessarily mean that they're good for each other. Maybe Buffy should really try to date a fighter with a pulse. Haha! *crickets* Yisss....

I've watched many episodes (as well as Serenity, which I liked. Except for Wash's demise, that made me sad!). I am a fan of Nathan Fillion, so yeah, I do like the series. I just admire the whole premise of the show. I really enjoy it when people put a lot of effort into their work. It was a special show 🙂 Someday, I'll watch all the episodes in order!

Ok, just thought I'd share this. Totally in love with these forums, don't get me wrong, but, and I suppose it's my fault really, but I just ran into a spoiler for the Angel series. Dang it! I hate it when this happens. *sigh* Oh well. :\

I respect Bangel more than I respect other shippings from other shows/books. For example, Harry/Hermione was the most ludicrous thing I'd ever heard. 🙂 But I'll leave that to a completely different forum I'm apart of 😛

I totally do! She's absolutely adorable and hilarious! Didn't know she was in Buffy, so I kinda did a little dancey-dance when I saw her for the first time in the 7th. 🙂
