"Ground State" Official Discussion Thread (WB-US)

You would be correct Gman 🙂

I won't post another summary of my thoughts since I already did in the other thread. Sorry Buffy 🙂

that was a great episode, about even with the first. gwen seemed like something from the x-men, but she was cool, hope she sticks around too.
gunn dying didn't shock me at all, because if a regular dies halfway through the show, you know they're not going to stay that way.
the ending was pretty funny, even though it was pretty much the same thing as last time, this time was funnier.
what happens to phantom dennis now? ;(

I liked Gwen (except maybe for her taste in casual clothes 🙂, and hope she'll be a regular or semi-regular, and she *did* remind me of X-files.

My favorite part, however, was the "reunion" between Angel and Wesley. Angel's considerably lame "I consider that we're even now, " and Dark Wes *so* not interested as he goes about his new rogue-demon-hunter business.

Even better was the not-quite-spoken, "I know you've only come to see me for help in finding Cordelia, so here's the research I've been doing on her disappearance for the past three months. Goodbye."

Gunn dies for a nanosecond, shocked to death by electro-Gwen. But she either has an attack of conscience or has a thing for Angel - clearly she has a thing for Angel - anyway she stops to shock him again which starts his heart again. Sort of a mutant-human defibrillator. Gunn actually thought it was pretty cool that he'd died but Fred was Not amused.

Afterwards, Fred let out all the fear and stress and exhaustion she'd built up all summer when she'd been worried sick about Angel and trying to hold AI together. Gunn's dying even for a nanosecond made her feel totally abandoned.

Girls in TV Shows r allways Babes (well almost). And yeah Gwen is indeed like some kinda mutant X-man. Well not so much a men! but anywayz u know what I mean!
