i just re-watched ground state and i love the episode but my reaction is always the same with a certain scene

"what the hell was that kiss about between angel and gwen?"
 
a lot and i mean a loti just pick one and watch it doesn't matter to me which one i love basicly everyy single episode of buffy and angel
 
I took it as a sudden moment arising from the fact that Angel's heart was beating (something he says he misses in Season Five, I think) and Gwen's power giving, in a sense, life as opposed to taking it.

Two powerful people, each feeling something new and meaningful to them = the kiss.

I'm not gay and i'd say yes to Angel and Gwen - I'd rather kill myself than say no.

I am in a peculiar mood actually, but why not be literal. Sometimes the greatest philosophical debates are way off because 'a crack in the floor is just a crack in the floor' - note thats a dig most on here won't get as they don't get UK newspapers.

I dunno, I still maintain that something set them off... and those were they 🙂

I guess what it could have been was the instant beating of his heart causing it to spring to life and the heart being the 'center' of our emotion, particularly love, caused Angel to instantly 'feel' something extreme and faced with a beautiful woman who was the reason he felt it caused him to be overwhelmed by the moment and give in to his human desires.

Gwen didn't back away because she is not used to 'human' touch because of 'how she is wired' and when this handsome man kissed her, she relented because she too was overwhelmed by this feeling she'd not experienced.

Basically - Gwen hot = why now + Angel hot = why not

OK i'm not flying the homo-banner here but i've never seen Angel have that reaction from a lady before, not even the lesbians I know who wouldn't touch a man if t mean't saving the life of their beloved kittens.
 
nope i'm not blind i can admit that in some episodes omg he's nice looking (defo welcome to the hellmouth yum!)
