Growing Pains.

Hey guys. Over the past 5 seasons of Angel, a number of people have grown/changed alot from when they first appeared on the show. For example, Cordy had gone from a vien, prissy, and foolish girl, to a well grounded, tough, and all around extrordinary woman. And Wesley has gone from being a clumbsy, wimpy, and nerdy guy, to being a rugged, serious, and tough man who I consider a major player on Angel's team.

So my question is, who do yall think has/had grown or changed the most since first appearing on Angel?

I think Cordelia did. She started out like she did in Season 3 of Buffy, a snotty stuck up girl who wanted to be an actress. As the years went on she learned how to fight and began to care for people more. Maybe it was a maturity thing that came along with growing up. She became part demon to help Angel and now she helps people as a higher being. Or, well, she did before she died...

I agree with Hero. Cordelia went from a self-centered girl to a mature confident woman. She also suffered the most and in the end came back one more time to set Angel on the right path.
 
Wesley, definitely. He went from bumbling watcher to the Wesley we know today.
 
Well, in the ::devil:: Big Bad's ::devil:: opinion, it's a toss up between Wes and Cordy. But I guess it can only be one winner to this, so I'll go with the Ex-Pansy Watcher turned Rouge-Demon Hunter on this one.

To me the changes to Wes weren't as gradual as they were in Cordy. It took a couple of seasons for her(Cordy) to really become the woman who we last saw in "You're Welcome", as opposed to Wes who pretty much became the person some of refer to as "Dark Wesley" or "Shotgun-Wes" during Season 4. In essence, Cordy's changes were gradual and were more based on growth and new life experiences (or as Hero put it "maturity"). Wesley's changes however were kinda quick and based on one life situation (his falling out with AI team) as opposed to the cumulation of many life situations.

So although Cordy has changed alot over the course of Angel, I'll give my vote to Wes.
 
I think Cordy and Faith. I haven't seen all of Angel so I don't know about Wesley.
 
well in the literal sence Connor...
but i'd say Fred has grown the most (watch her in Pilea or early season 3 then watch a whole in the world and you'll know what i mean.)
 
I'd have to go with Cordy. She was pretty much a wench a lot of the time on Buffy. I've always liked her, even when she could be mean to Buffy and them. But once she got over on Angel she changed. It was gradual, but I think she changed the most. I was so sad to see her pass.

I think just about everyone on the show is pretty different from thier first appearances, but my vote goes for Wesley.
