I don't know about you, but I was ecpecting the Mutant Enemies logo monster to say or do something cute or funny in the finale. All he did was show his teeth into the screen. I would of liked it if it said something like, "It's all over folks!", or "God I'm tired of doing this", or "What am I going to do now?" "Why am I also walking here"

Also since the uber-vamps were made to look like him, and Spike killed all of them, maybe he should of turned into dust, or have a little Buffy cartoon come out and stake him once and for all. Or maybe he could collapse from exhaustion.

I totally agree. I was so looking forward to see what the last ME monster was gonna do/say! I kept watching it over to see if I missed something, but I guess not. Can you say anticlimactic?!?! 😉

Yeah, I was pretty disapointed in that too.

I can kinda understand why some people are saying Joss didn't care and just threw together that script and like to point to his post at the Bronze Beta and say he just wanted to get it over with.

I disagree, but I can kinda see how they get that, even though the finale was one of my favorite episodes ever...

Buffy Summers: That was the thing I was most disapointed about. It would've given it a nice since of closure, not that the ep was lacking any, but still...

Oh come on! Didn't anybody notice the critter turning to the audience as it said, "Grr argh"? That little gesture elicited cheers at the Buffy party I attended.

hahaha those are wicked ideas!!
woulda been great, but yeah i noticed that it was partially animated.. that was the only time it's done that right?

Well, the grr arg monster still has a job on angel. I'm sure he'll do something cuter at the very end of that.

I didn't even think about the little monster until I actually saw it, and I must admit, it was pretty boring. I liked Billy Blood's idea of a little Buffy jumping out and slaying him, that would've been cool.
