TOP 50 Vampires

Ol' Broody couldn't even beat out Christopher Lee's portrayal of Dracula, and he hasn't bitten a single neck in decades.

(All of the other Buffy vampires, including Vamp Willow and the Master are in the top 50 as well, but you'll have to look them up for yourself)

Personally, I love the description of Darla... trying to explain her and then just being like, "yeah... it's complicated." lol

Yeah, if you think about it, Angel's pretty lame. For a vampire, that is.

Good for Spike. But the fact that they put Bill Compton ahead of Eric Northman doesn't really help in taking the list seriously.

Frankly i'm surprised stuart townsend isn't on there for playing lestat in the QOTD movie. Yes the movie did awful in theatres etc. but I thought he played a good version of lestat.

Seen this a little while ago and well done Spike. Both Angel and Spike are great characters i find it hard to pick a favourite but i'd probably go with Spike aswell :smile3:

It's a decent top 50, but I really don't agree with some of them. Seriously, Bill is higher up than Eric?! That just ain't right.
 
I can't imagine Spike NOT being the #1 vampire! He's so sexy & funny & a joy to watch (or imagine, ahem... I mean like, in books & fan-fic...)

I'm equally happy to see Angel, Darla, Dru, the Master AND Vamp-Willow in the list!

Pretty nice to see True Blood's two vampy hunks, and of course, Barnabas Collins, who was the very first vampire-on-TV I ever saw.

I was grossed out at Edward of Twilight... vampires that sparkle, oh great merciful Zeus, what a ridiculous concept!

But I was really surprised, & sadly so, that neither Damon nor Stephan of Vampire Diaries making the list! - I mean, Damon is as close to Spike as it gets, and Stephan is as close to Angel... so, how on earth did they get skipped over? Wah.

But SUPER YAY for Spike being #1!!!

I was shocked about Damon as well. Stefan has fans but there are some die hard Damon ones. He is so close to Spike thats why I love him :)

Interview is often hailed as one of the best vampire films ever and certainly the best one where the vampires are the protagonists.

Queen of the Damned is..well, said to be one of the worst novel adaptations ever. And with good reason.

I'm going through QotD right now and my god they didn't get anything right in the movie. I mean, how hard is it to give Townsend a blond wig or just dye his hair?

The fact they couldn't get the minorest detail right is sad.
