I think that's a bit too harsh for me. While I don't need her arround anymore, a little closure for her character would indeed be nice. But after this, she can pack her bags and go.

Well...Tom Lenk has already made his apperance...
Vincent is scheduled to do one episode...from what I hear it is a lingering part of his contract from last season.
Well...we all already know that Cordy came back...and she's gone...
Aly's sitcom is in the works...so a Willow spinoff seems improbable...Tru Calling doesn't seem to be doing well...but Fox did pick up another seven episodes to complete the season...
As of now...SMG doesn't have the best relations with her former co-workers...
Many of the BTVS actors are still steamed at her for announcing that she was leaving the show in an article before she ever told any of the cast or crew...basically leaving her co-workers to discover they were out of a job in a magazine rather than SMG or Joss telling them...Aly in particular has proclaimed her particular distaste for that particular action...
The scripts up to 5.17 are already written...and a former BTVS character will be showing up to help with...um...Fred's problems...
