What's My Line, Part Two

What's My Line aired just before Ted, in the middle of Season Two, and Ted featured one of my favorite bits of stunt casting. That of John Ritter as Joyce's boyfriend, Ted Buchanan.

Fill in the blank: It would've been fun to see ____ on Buffy (or Angel). (Optional: what kind of role would you have liked to seen them in?)

Example: It would've been fun to see Molly Ringwald on Buffy. Perhaps as a relative of Willow's or as Xander's substitute teacher/crush.
 
I would've been fun to see wesley snipes as blade on buffy...they would like be fighting....then dawn comes....and buffy is all confused why isn't this vamp dusting....then blade shows how to really kick some ass...
 
What about Kristy Swanson? She played Buffy in the feature film, which spawned the show... maybe as the previous Slayer, in a flashback or something.

It would've been fun to see Angelina Jolie on Buffy. I'm thinking good character here, but played by the First... possibly playing... Faith's dead watcher! But, then again, Jolie would probably do better as a different character.
 
It would've been fun to see Matthew McConnaughey on BTVS as a vampire. That would've been so hilarious! Can you just see him with his southern accent plus fangs? LOL!
 
It would of been nice if somehow all the charecters on buffy could meet all the ones of charmed for a few eppisodes then, the scoobies go back to sunnydale and the halliwell's go back to san fransisco!!
 
It woulda been cool to see Luke Perry on Buffy as Pike from the movie...would have confused everyone, considering how old he looks now 😀

AHHH u are sooo right....i agree.....too have them interact..or even angel with the charmed ones....would be cool
 
luke perry is gay...he is such an arrogant pretty boy...

i would have like to have seen jet li on...he could of played a shaolin assassin...that would've been cool...
 
did you know that freddy prz.Jr was originaly going to appear on buffy as the role as Dracular! yep its true! however, the actor who played Drac pulled it off very well so im glad Jr didnt get the part.
 
Robert Englund (The guy who plays Freddy Kruger) as some sort of demon or vampire would be cool, seeing that he is already type casted as that type anyways. Not really sure if that counts as a guest spot, seeing that he's not a celebrity, but it still would be cool.
 
Reaching back in time.

Many here won't know what I'm talking about when I mention these, and these guys aren't exactly celebs......but I have sometimes wondered what it would have been like to have a couple of the main characters from the old, early 90's TV vampire series "FOREVER KNIGHT" crossover into BTVS.

Having Nick Knight, and his mortal enemy LeCroix (played by Geraint Wyn Davies & Nigel Bennet, respectively) coming to Sunnydale would have made for an interesting storyline, IMO.
 
Yeah, I remember Forever Knight very well. Bloody bad ending to the series IMO, but if you can discount the deaths in the series, Urs or Janette would've been a couple of vamps to watch, and maybe Nick's partners, Don Schanke and Tracy Vetter (Lisa Ryder!).
