Guilty Pleasures

Ok, I'm bored so its random thread time.

What are people's guilty pleasures, what cds or songs do you listen to when noones around to laugh at you? What films or books or TV shows do you have a soft spot for when you really shouldn't. Anything at all under the sun, don't be shy.

I tend to listen to 80's cheese a little too often and watch reality shows when noones around:hehe:

Aqua. I love them 🙂 So cheery. Also Toxic by Britney Spears. Just that one song.

Sunset Beach and General Hospital. American soaps are so much better than British ones.

But in general Im not ashamed of what I like. People all know I like them.

When I'm feeling particulary tired of the regular music I listen to (or I'm a bit tired of life in general), I dig out a CD I burned. It has a bunch of songs from a bunch of Disney movies on it...Under the Sea from The Little Mermaid stuff from Aladdin, Hercules, Tarzan, The Lion King...In my defense, I watched all these with the dwarflets when they were little, and the songs get me back to how we felt enjoying them together...embarrassing, but it gets the job done! Going off to hide in the corner now...😉

hmm music: Oldies tunes mainly.... like here lately its been stuff like the Cha Cha slide, Shout, The Electric slide, Celebration... It reminds me of my old school dances lol

and Movies when know ones around and the blinds are closed as well as the window so no one can see... Disney movies... i still have alot of my old disney movies.. Most recent. The Fox and the Hound. Little Mermaid, All Dogs Go to Heaven two.. etc..

I just watched Hillary Duff sing "Beat of my Heart"....twice.

I'm not sure if I got pleasure from it, I assume I did.

I was thinking this was odd...until I remembered I have Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson, and The Sugababes songs saved on this laptop.

The Vikings, words cannot express how much I love this movie. I loved it when I was five...I still love it.

I, uh, adored Sunset Beach. Ben and Meg, an evil twin, switched babies, super Annie, evil Gregory. What a show!!! Oh my god, I need to dust off my old Sunset Beach videos!!

Dog the Bounty Hunter.

The trick with Dog though is you have to see it for what it is - a righteous, hilarious comedy series.

I love that bit in the credits when they're all doing the slow motion Angel stride towards the camera and big momma Dog is bouncing along trying to look dangerous. I have that on tape, and when I need a laugh, I turn it on.

I have this fantasy about moving to Hawaii, and comitting a crime so I can jump bail, get caught, and sit in Dog's mini-van arguing with him about religion on the way to the clink.

woah that is so weird.. I have a Disney cd with a variation of disney songs... like under the sea and a whole new world.. can you feel the love tonight.. seriously i am the biggest kid.. i still watch all those shows! love em :silly:

Love Sunset Beach, so many twisted intrigues, the deshaneljewels, bens psycho twinbrother1 I saw one episode where the baby talked to the dog!? just gotta love it though.

and now I've grown sligth addicted to ER. I don't know why but it's so simple to watch. not that it's especially exciting or something just a strange addiction

Back when I still had time for TV my guilty pleaseure was Degrassi. I am way too old to watch that show and yet...currently anything that I can do to avoid working is a guilty pleasure, but not of the embarassing nature-but can I just say that, at this point, I have evenstarted to learn Latin because that in all its nerdy glory is worlds better than working on my paper.

Mine would probably be...... Spice Girls, any sugary-sweet-tooth-sweet 90's pop music really... SAILOR MOON!!! 😀..... Mary-Kate and Ashley movies/tapes.... aaaand.....Finding Nemo!

Lol, although the Spice Girls probably can't count, what with me being a crazily proud fan, but all the same, those are my biggies 🙂

Guilty pleasures? I happen to listen savage garden and lene marlin...
watch TV shows like Dawson's creek,One Tree Hill or Sous Le Soleil...oh and cartoons (with my little brother)...btw ~AS~ Finding Nemo is great!
Another guilty pleasure...when I'm bored I play Simple plan on my guitar...I know...pathetic...

I am addicted to trashy gossip magazines-Star, Life & Style, Us, In Touch, etc. I love Howard the Duck-I even used to play Howard the Duck as a little girl. Kinda like, "house" except in howard the duck land! Bizarre...

I also love Disney movies! You guys rock! Disney is the best, how can we be embarassed of the magic?!

As much as I rail against really bad movies most of the time....I must admit to having a handful of those among my guilty viewing pleasures.

It's an embarrassing list, so I'll name only one....Eddie & The Cruisers II: Eddie Lives.
