Okay in this season they have a bond and I enjoyed that. Gunn really trusted Wes when he took a bullet for him and then it seems all is forgotten once Fred comes along. I am not blaming her it is just it sucks to see them the way they are here and then it all go down the drain over a girl. It seems the best of friendships do especially on T.V.

Does anyone else sometimes feel it is forgotten how well Wes and Gunn well the three of them including Cordy were when Angel fired them?

I really hated seeing the two of them becoming enemies over Fred, I thought it was an awful shame to a beautiful and unlikely friendship that had formed in s2.

I really like their friendship, but I think it's unfair when people hate Fred for it. It's not her fault.

It's Gunn fault for trying to steal Wesley's girl! (Okay, no that's the rabid Fresley in me talking!)

lol, but seriously. I guess writer's can't resist a good love triangle. The thing I'm most upset about is Wes & Gunn's reconciliation. We finally see them really, truly become friends again in A Hole in the World by Gunn giving Wes his blessing, so to speak, on his relationship with Fred and once Wes finds out about what Gunn does it's all down the drain again.

I agree I don't blame Fred I honestly think she thought she was supposed to be with Gunn everyone makes mistakes 😉

Thats another thing I think Wes had a reason to be mad at Gunn at that moment but I would have just liked to see them closer again. Gunn loved Fred, Wes loved Fred they both know it there was just no reason to get so angry.

Do you think Gunn got very mad at Wes when he kissed Fred for the fact that he kissed her or was he afraid she liked it? That's always what stands out to me it seemed like he knew she liked him in a way and that made him more angry with Wes at times. Hope that makes sense.

I agree, I wouldn't blame Fred here. When Fred and Gunn got together, I was sooooo confused. I had really wanted Wesley to be the guy she chose, but I think that after the "Billy" episode when Wes got all chauvinistic on her, his chances were kinda ruined for the time being.

Gunn was being his usual cocky arrogant self, he was the one who switched on Wesley. I loved there friendship, but friendships can become ruined when there is a girl. Wesley and Fred were meant to be!

I don't blame her either, I was thrilled when she and Gunn got together. (and I'm so happy Fresley got limited screentime) But it's a shame they the friendship had to be wrecked because of it.

I totally blame Fred for ruining Gunn and Wes's friendship...one of the reasons why I hate her.

How do you feel she ruined the friendship?

I will give a example of why I don't blame Fred people spend time together they achieve feelings do I agree with her choice of Gunn no but I don't blame her. She just got back from a hell dimension at least it was in her case being a cow and all. She liked Gunn she didn't realize Wesley had feelings for her at the time. I think Gunn did but I won't discuss that at the moment since this is about Fred. I feel like the guys should have talked about it but boys will be boys.

Fred was never an active player in Wes and Gunn's rivalry. The most Fred could be guilty of is not trying harder to connect with Wes when he was estranged, however she made more of an effort than the rest of the group. No, it wasn't Fred's fault, she never asked to be the object of both of their affections.

Well, Gunn was already majorly pissed off at Wesley for kidnapping Connor, so that probably added into it. But, he also knew Wesley was in love with her, so it was probably a combination of all it.

It's a miracle... there's something we don't agree on! 😛

I can definitely see that all of it and then the rage, but he kissed her in season four it had been a while. You would think he had time to process. Actually if he was mad it would be about the supersymmetry thing IMO where Wes gave Fred what she wanted revenge and Gunn killed the professor because he felt she would regret it. After this point it seemed that things got worse.
He had to see Wes was in love with her even Lilah could 😉
