I'm watching Shells right now, and confused about something.

I know that Gunn signed the release form to release it from customs. But, did he know that it was coming to Wolfram & Hart? And that it was pre-destined to be a resurrection of an old one?

I'm confused about this, because he said "I didn't think it would be any of us. I didn't think it would be Fred" That implies that he knew more about it than let on.


What do you all think?
 
i just figured that he thought it was something bad, and he knew it was wrong to do it, but he wanted the upgrade, so he did it anyway, knowing that something bad was gonna come out of it. he just didn't expect that the badness, whatever it was, was gonna affect one of them, one of team Angel.

What Lyri said, but i do not think he ever thought it was an old one at all.
he just thought it was as i understood it an old toomb that was illegal to smuggle into the country and being a lawyer he bent the rules to get it there.

His addiction to the knowlege he had overid his doubt too.
 
Well, I think it was clear to Gunn that whatever it was, it wasn't good.

However, I don't think he knew exactly what it was, where it would end up, or what would happen. I don't think that Gunn could've known, to be honest.

Gunn really didn't have any role in Fred's death - he just unwillingly made it possible because of his own "Flowers for Algernon" syndrome.
 
Do you think this is what would have lead to Gunn's Big Badness?? I have heard he was gonna be the BB. Have you all heard anymore in depth information about this badness?
