Gwen's a main character?

I love Gwen and everything and I think she's so awesome and cool. Not to be rude, but why is she in the Main Characters section? I mean she was only in like 3 episodes.
 
I thought Gwen was interesting. I also found it very strange that they showed so much of her background story and then she just disappeard and it was never mentioned again.

Totally and completely agree with ya. She could have easily been one of the core characters had her story been expanded at least a bit more. I mean come on, if you're going to give some background on the girl, dated back to her childhood, it's because she has the potential to become something much more!

I liked Cordelia in Buffy because she was funny and slowly showed that she was a generally good person. She really became strong in Angel, but I felt she stopped being funny, fell in love with Angel which I thought was dumb, then she got forced into that weird relationship with Connor and got tricked into being a "higher being". Gwen was consistently bad*ss!
 
I loved Gwen's appearances on Angel and am disappointed they didn't use her in season 5. If they didn't decide to make that season so episodic then perhaps they would have brought her back.

Gwen had a good report with the crew. I was greatly angered by Cordelia's treatment of her (thankfully it wasn't really Cordy).

Gwen stood out in all of her appearances and I wish we'd been able to see more of her.
 
She does return in the After The Fall comics, so if you want to see more of her, you can. 😉
 
I really like Gwen! She was awsome! I thought we were going to see more of her. I really liked her and Gunn together!
 
Gwen rocks. 😀 Even though she was never a main character, she made a big impression on fans. I don't think it's weird that she has her own forum.
 
Gwen should definitely had been brought on as a regular, she was the spice to Cordy's and Fred's sugar. It's sad that they never found a way to make more room for her! The few eps she was in she was electrifying! 😉

100% agreed, I felt the writers were setting her up to be a regular though, she was so much more interesting than the most single episode characters on the show (even though she was in 3 lol). Perhaps they were planning to put her in season 6?
