I'm just a bit curios, do you talk much whit your hairdresser when you getting your hair done? me, I just say how I would like my hair and then nothing more. :happy57:

I actually do talk with my hairdresser cuz I have a really good one. I think it depends on what hairdresser you have. Before I had a very quiet one so I didn't talk that much, my new one is really good. I like her. 😀

My hairdresser is also my aunt so I'm obliged to say a little something to her lol! 😛

Um, I've never been to a hairdresser... But I don't think I would say that much to her/him.. I usually don't talk to strangers, heh..

So who cuts your hair?

Um, my mom used to when I was a kid.. Well these day, my mom or a friend... My hair is very curly and there's no use trying to make it look good, lol.

Its always best to go with someone you trust. Two of my cousins are hairdressers and both hate doing my hair because they are scared i'll shout at them. I'm really fussy with my hair, especially the length.

I don't really have much time to talk when I get my hair done...it's over far too quickly 🙂 I usually go with Mrs P to get mine done and we know the girls in the salon quite well, so we usually have a chat...Mrs P more than me 😉

My hairdresser is one of those long-time family friend things. He always asks me about the same things and its always the same answers. Hows college? Still at Woolworths? Got a girlfriend yet? Still into computers? (Which I resent, yeah I can handle computers but im not in love with them). Haven't had my hair cut in a while, not sure whether to grow it longer or keep it short.

Never. I'm way to scared. I've got no problem speaking to people I know, but strangers. I don't know my hairdresser and I'm not going to get to know him/her so talking to him/her only feels awkward. The few times I try it always ends in "Nice weather................."

My mum always cut my hair when I was little, but when I was a little bit older like 10-12 or something I wanted to go to the hairdresser but they cut my hair so strange and I didn't like it at all, I also remembered long moments of awkward silence, so I went back to my mum.

Yeppers...I rarely go to hairdesser at all,coz I'm very fussy bout it..I only let one that I've known for years cut my hair..so we always talk bout school,UK,my plans for future etc.

i ahve been to a hairdresser oncew, when i was 15.. but never before or after that... mom used to cut my hair. or i would do it(though my method of cutting my hair was(*caugh* is) rather questionalble, my mom says i',m damned lucky that it turns out as well as it has done and still do, but usually my mom cuts it... i have hair to my waist, when i cut it i only take the ends, not much work...

CookieDough: oh i hate long moments of awkward silence as well... so ugh!!

Xander: LOL yeah, that does sound strage doesn't it: you still INTO computers

:ufo:

though i do wish i had the money to color it at a hairdresser... but i'm a student and all that, don't want to spend all my money at the hairdresser(LOL home hair color disasters here i come.. i just highlighted my hair.... it worked fine though, but that was just luck :tongue05: )

Do you guys feel that your hair is an important part of your identety? i feel that... my hair is opart of my apperance and what i choose to project into the world... important to be happy with the hair.... 😉

I just find it insulting, as if I do nothing else...well I like to pretend I do other things.

I dont feel my hair is part of my identity as I don't give it much care. Nowadays I just chuck some water on it, stroke down the sticking up bits and leave.

I actually care a lot about my hair. And sometimes I can get really sad because of the fact that my hair looks so crappy, lol. If I had a choice I'd have great hair, heh.. really, it's just not worth all my money (and it would take all my money to make my hair straight like every month). But yeah, I kinda feel my hair is a part of my identity.. the crappy part though.. unfortunately..

🙂 yeah, me too.. i wish i had GREAT hair... right now, my hair would be perfect, if it was the same length, but a good shade of blond(and my hair-model is amanda bynes... from what i like about you.. LOL her hair looks som great) 😉... i don't like the fact that my hair is so frissy... AH.... :eyes:

Lol yeah, my hair is way frizzy (god I hate that word lol).. And it has always annoyed me like hell.. I really hate it... blah..
My hairdresser talks to me a little.. about college, what i do etc..
My hair is way important to me.. at the moment im styling the emo look.. my hair has to be proper straight when i go out.. or it goes up..

Hair is very overrated...sob...sniffle 😉

Well, never having been to a hairdresser by myself....I'm not sure. I haven't had my hair cut professionally since the eighth grade, and my mom took me that time....We kind of talked to each other and also to the hairdresser...I hated the haircut...man I miss my hair when it's short!! *sigh* I love my long hair!! YAY!

I have to change either my hair color, or cut every so often, because I'm weird that way! :redwink: So, I've had MANY hairdressers, but the one that I currently have talks ALOT!!! So, it's fun!! And, my dental hygenist talks to me almost the WHOLE time, so it takes the longest time for my teeth to get clean. (I know it's off the subject, but I thought that it kind of fit here.)
