So... I've been binging the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries.. which are light murder mysteries and VERY Hallmark. Feel good characters, no real threats. It reminds me of old school mystery shows like Murder, She Wrote and Diagnosis Murder. Does anyone else watch Hallmark movies, or mystery shows? I love how I can just watch, try to solve the mystery, and also call out all the traditional roles, like the red herring, the foil, and other classic mystery elements. I literally watched 3 last night before I finally made myself go to bed, and I do not regret it at all.
 
I do. I watch that channel a lot. My favorites are Aurora Teagarden, Murder She Baked, and Gourmet Detective. The last two only have 5 movies apiece and they air the re-runs of those. I liked Garage Sale Mysteries movie series but due to what Lori Loughlin and her husband did Hallmark is not making new ones or airing the re-runs. They are still available online, though; particularly on Amazon.

Yeah quite a few Garage Sale Mysteries on Amazon Prime . One I enjoyed in that vein was 'Womans Murder Club' a short lived half season wonder . Nice copy on Youtube and it's very CSI Hallmark .

There's always the British route to wholesome mystery , Jonathon Creek , Lovejoy etc . Not really my bag but I know there's a whole bunch of chefs , gardeners , antique dealers etc solving crimes in British tv going back decades .
 
I've seen a few of the Hallmark Christmas movies, but never the mystery movies, they sound like I would probably like them, but I don't go out of my way anymore to watch shows, too much to watch.
 
I'm not really a big fan of most of the Hallmark but I did recently see the Aurora Teagarden "Haunted by Murder" one which was pretty good.

I haven't gotten there yet! It is the newest one, and Candace Cameron Bure's daughter guest stars as the teenaged Ro! I'm excited!
 
@Cohen My mom got me into The Good Witch (movies/series). Definitely a feel good/guilty pleasure kind of show.
Plus it had 2 of my biggest girl crushes in it! 😳

Speaking of, while I've been battling a cold the last few weeks, I've been watching Heartland.
Definitely a guilty pleasure kinda show just chock full of the feels. 😳

Joy (Kat Barrell) is only in the final few seasons of the 'sequel' series.
 
Watching some "Chronicle Mysteries" films at the moment . Hallmarky wholesome dramas. 🙂 . Not bad at all for the genre .
