Any plans?

If the weather holds out we shall decorate the two houses as usual, more decs this year!! I'll be in my NBC Oodie and Abbs is dressing up as the Plague Doctor...

No outdoor decorations, just the usual red candles in my windows (with very low light indoors). And of course I already have the music planned!!

First song:

Second one:

And so on. 🎃👻

Edit: @NotASlayer Oh dear God, no! You NEVER use a black candle unless you're performing dark magic.

Red candles? You surprise me! I expected black. Or are they made from the blood of your victims?
Nothing much this year! Likely just enjoy the Halloween-ish atmosphere, decorate my home, and watch a few movies on the day. One of these days I’ll get to pass out candy on Halloween, but sadly didn’t quite work out this time

I put some decorations in the shop window, but that's about as much as I'll do for it

The Halloween dance at the Capitol was pretty good this year. We had about 400 people with all of them on the dance floor at some time or other, so even if it is the largest dance floor of any of the venues I dance at, we were all crammed in for a while. After a while, some patrons left, so things became a bit more normal. I went as a devil and my girlfriend went as an angel. A number of people went as priests or nuns, so as the devil, I said, "Bless you my son/daughter for doing my work" and with some of our more unique dance moves, "I am the devil and I can give you lessons."

There were some interesting costumes, including a woman dressed as a chicken and her husband dressed as Colonel Sanders. (Actually, Harland Sanders lived about 10 km south of the Capitol at 1337 Melton Drive from 1960 to 1979 and he was the first famous person I ever met, back in 1978.) Others came as Egyptian Middle Kingdom royalty or Cleopatra and others came as horror movie figures, but the one guy everyone noticed came as a penis. He had a full body suit with testicles for the feet and arm holes at the side plus a screened face port so he could see out but it was difficult to see in. I later went to the washroom and heard sounds from the (large) handicap booth where the inhabitant of the penis had another guy in there with him and said:

"Get me out of this thing."

"I can't find the zipper."

"Come on, I gotta go!"

"Well, you shouldn't have thrown away the instructions."

He got back to the dance floor later and had someone unzip his outfit (the zipper was down his back) and this tall Chinese guy came out of it. A worthwhile night for all of us.

I'll be outside scaring off the trick or treaters. Its getting darker earlier for you guys, but its staying lighter longer here! So once the sun is gone, I'll probably be in bed!

Tomorrow may be a good day; the day after Halloween when the supermarkets start selling off Halloween food cheaply!

I'm having a vampire triple bill.

The Lost Boys, Fright Night and Blade. Three of the absolute best vampire films in my opinion.

I assume you mean the original Fright Night not the remake! 😀

I didn't mind the remake that much, but yes the original is one of the best vampire films ever made. Chris Sarandon is the man.

The remake is one of those "Meh" remakes. Not bad, not great.
This was me and my neighbours houses decorated for the evening. We sat out, listened to Halloweenie music, had coffee but now all packed up for another year!!
