When Willow turns into a ghost, how come everyone can see her?

I thought ghosts were invisible?

Why couldn't they of just made the gang not see her
like in 'Same time same Place'.

(don't know if this has already been discussed)

Yeah and i also noticed last night( when i was watching it)
that Angel is incredibly WHITE! like in Angel he's sorta tanned? ish?

It's so noticeable.
 
Lol, all the way through seasons one and two Angel is incredibly pale with either really pink lips and too much eyeliner, or really pale/blue like lips.

It seems to stop in season 3, its not AS distinct at least.

I guess it's just how you interpret ghosts. I always figured you could see them, like when people say they have an old woman/little boy ghost that haunts their house or something. Poltergeists are invisible though I think. That's what I reckon anyway.

I also think they had to make her visible in THAT outfit! 😀
 
I love Halloween. 😀 It's the one that got me hooked to BtVS.

I never wondered about what kind of ghost Willow was. I only wondered why she didn't forget everything like other did. 🙂

Angel's never tan to me. He's always pale or white. 🙂
 
Halloween Buffy. I always see her with that brown hair and pink long dress when you say Halloween 🙂
Ufuf I never wondered about ghost Willow, I mean most of the time you can see ghosts in the movies and tv shows, but she could go throught walls and everything 🙂
Angel is always white to me 🙂
 
No i understand why We (the audience) can see her.Just don't get why the others should.
 
I think it kind of depends on the writer's interpretation of ghosts. Some people think ghosts can be seen, others don't.

And, also, if they couldn't see Willow it would be harder for character interaction, so it worked out better.

I really loved that episode...cause Buffy seeemed so fragile under that spell!!!she felt so unprotected and i really wanted to kiss Angel(if he existed! lol) the moment he took her in his arms...haha poor Buffy being afraid of Angel!!!I have noticed that Angel seemed a little weird in season 1 not just because of the white colour...maybe David was very thin back then...i have also noticed that when he turned to Angelus...he was even more paler and i think he had eyeliner in his eyes...but of course that didn;t stop me from being obsessed with Angel/us (i am a really crazy BANGEL fan!)...

now,about Willow...i never really wondered...I agree with Anya Jenkins-Harris about the writer's interpretation...besides if you notice how many vampire movies do exist nowadays,for example...you will also notice that every story presents different characteristics about vampires...so i guess it's the writer's point of view about ghosts
 
That is the thing about ghosts, they come in different forms. Some you can't see, some you can. Some are able to touch you and others who are as solid as you and me.
I once met an old friend I hadn't seen for ages, greeted him like a long lost mate. It was later that I remembered that I went to his funeral.
 
In the Buffyverse, lots of ghosts are visible(not all though).

Like the ghosts later on in season 2. Or Dennis mom in season 1 of Angel. Or the ones in Buffy, season 4. The invisible ghost I can think of is Dennis.
 
I didn't really like this episode, mostly because I thought that Buffy was acting really ridiculous. She also SHOULD have been speaking in something more similar to Old English, like thay talk in Pride and Prejudice. Also, women of that era really weren't that dependent on men. I would of preferred for her to act more like Elizabeth (Pride & Prejudice) or someone like that. It just all seemed very fake. I also didn't like how Buffy was trying to change herself for Angel. It seemed pretty immature of her.

I LOVED Willow's outfit, very pretty. I also thought it was nioce how at the end of the episode she had enough confidence to walk home weiring it. And Oz's reaction was great: "Who is that girl?!"

As other's have said, Willow really needed to be visible, and some ghosts are.

Ok, who else thinks that Buffy's "honey, I'm home" to Spike was foreshadowing for Something Blue?
 
Well if they made Buffy like Elizabeth from Pride and Prejudice it wouldn't be that interesting. Buffy is a strong girl and independent.But she is in love and she wants to be what she thinks Angel would like the best. Yeah it is kind of immature but she is a young girl in love. 🙂 Of course Angel loves Buffy the way she is...he doesn't need a great 1800's dress and her being defenseless.

I really liked this episode cause Buffy seemed so different there. And I like Angel carrying her in his arms!:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:
