Halloween is coming....

I get no trick or treat... but why no decorations?
Why not do something for the kids at home with decorations and stuff?

Decorations outside encourage the kids to knock and if all the small kids aren't going out that means there is no point.
My ABbs is too old for decorations now inside but she is dressing up for a group call on Halloween with her mates! Random I know lol...

We've just received another state-wide isolation mandate due to Covid-19, so my Hallowe'en plans have officially gone to pot. I was going to go to a covid distancing costume party but now it looks like all I will do is re-read the Brothers Karamazov! My old friend Fyodor and I are going to reacquaint ourselves!
 
Considering that trick-or-treating isn't part of our country's tradition nor did I have any plans to visit any relatives in the first place, my Halloween plans haven't changed much. I have a few horror films in mind for the upcoming holiday. Haven't watched a real movie that isn't a short film for a very long time (not counting my obligatory X-Files movie viewing), so this would be a nice return to my first love that's movies (as opposed to TV shows).

Think I'll pop in Trick 'r Treat and Urban Legends.
 
I don't work on Halloween, so I'll probably get wasted, crank up the death metal, and order pizza.

Its REALLY tempting to do a spell or two on such a powerful night...and I think I will.
 
It is the 31st here, now so I'm getting red glowy things for the skulls eye holes.
I just wish it wasn't so painful pulling the skin off my face.

I'm home and the party was hoping to got cancelled. Well actually got told to limit to a certain amount of people that wasn't me & my friends. 😉
Anyone want to watch some Halloweeny stuff with me? Let me know, apparently I'll be free...
 
Guess what? There was nightshade running over the field towards the bubbling stream, then as she was about to jump the stream one of her heels caught in the dress. She fell forward without any grace - landing face down in the mud, oh what a disgrace and worst of all she was going to the solarium later that day where she'd have to pay for the facial mudpack. Poor nightshade! But did she scare any kiddlywinks as she passed the daycare clinic, well it is halloween.
 
I ate Chinese food, truffles, and danced by candlelight...no kidding. All the lights out, lots of red candles. I can't tell you how FUN it was. But I felt like there were spirits in the room. 😯

Halloween has brought the fun, today is the first day it has rained (here) for 51 days. I'm tempted to go outside for a shower but scaring the nature of it all is not a good thing to do!
