Anyone else a big fan of the Halloween (Michael Myers) Movies?


I have been obsessed with these movies for years. I have seen each of them over a hundred times and have them memorized for the most part. Just wondering if anyone else was a big fan of these movies and wanted to discuss them?
 
Don't hate me but I love H20 lol - big fan of all the Halloween films. I love the first because it was such a filmmaking accomplishment - shoestring budget, the cast & crew doing everything themselves, and they made a classic. Inspirational lol
 
Im not Harnetts biggest fan but any movie that brings Jamie Lee Curtis back is a good film to me.
It came out at the right time.....just as the Screams and the I know what you did last summer movies were huge...H20 was great...plus the halloween movies have one of the greatest scores of any franchise.
 
The first one was good, except it wasn't scary for me. No blood or guts shown!
 
Halloween 1 & 2 are classics if you ask me. The first real horror movies.

Halloween 3 didn't have any resemblance to the first two at all.

Halloween 4 & 5 were terrible, in my opinion. They had so many plot holes, and didn't even stick to the central plot. I wish they weren't made because I think they took away from the glory of the first two.

Halloween 6 was more trash. I think it was even worse than 4 & 5. It was totally stupid, everything Michael did was so out of character, the plot was stupid, acting was terrible, etc etc. Only reason I bought it is because I wanted to see if it was good or not. Needless to say, I wasn't happy with my purchase.

Halloween H20 & Resurrection were much better! I seem to gravitate more towards the ones with Jamie Lee in them. Only thing I didn't like was that Jamie died in the most recent movie. 🙁

Halloween 9. Yes. They are making another Halloween movie due out sometime in '06. Some girl was already casted for the part, which she won off of a contest on the movies official site. So... We'll see how this one turns out.
 
I love the halloween movies well i didn't like Halloween ressurection movie though... I mean the whole him to Kill Laurie we knew it was comming and it was due so i thought that was the best thing sad yes but best... I just wonder if he'll go after her son? I mean it seems natural that he would....
 
I've only seen 4 of them. First started with H20 which was a reasonably good slasher. Then the one with Bussa Bus and finally the first two... those were definitely the best!! Gawd, I never realised JLC was hot before 😉 Anyway, I would really like to get my hands on the other ones, just to be complete.

I HAVE seen all Fridays and all Nightmares and I think Friday was the most consistant in quality; probably, because they used the same script for every movie 😉
 
😱mg: I LOVE HALOWEEN MOVIES.... there so orginal these are the types of movies u can watch over and over again!!! lol
 
Not such a fan of the movies, but sorta like the first one. Not the best horror movie I've seen, but JLC was really good and way cute and the music was awesome. The pace of the movie is sorta slow, but the music makes it worth watching and it's what's makes the adrenaline pump.
 
I haven't seen any of those in a loooooong time. But I do remember Halloween 3 quite well. That movie was so bad that I almost enjoyed it. "Back in the day" like 1993, the only movie channel I could afford was Encore, because it was like $5 a month, they used to show Halloween 3 all the time. It was like like a trainwreck, so terrible, yet I could not look away for some reason.

And that song makes the whole movie worth watching... ___more days to Halloween Halloween Halloween ____more days to Halloween SILVER SHAMROCK!
