Oh heck yeah..

Fathom Events has announced that John Carpenter’s original 1978 Halloween starring Jamie Lee Curtis will screen in theaters on Oct. 29 with an exclusive introduction by Carpenter himself. The date situates the movie right in between its original 1978 release date of Oct. 25 and the titular holiday the film takes place on.

All screenings will be held at 7:30 p.m. local time, and a full list of locations and available tickets can be found on Fathom’s website.​

Ticket prices are $14. Jump on the website and punch in your zip.. I was surprised the amount of theaters carrying it.

That's cool. My local theatre shows old classics all the time. They're about the only films I'd go see these days.

They're actually showing The Shining on October 25th, and Halloween on the 30th.

I absolutely love Halloween. Everything from the music, to the William Shatner mask, is just perfect horror.

That's amazing. I can't believe that modern theaters would show classics all of the time. I wouldn't think they would get that much of an audience.

Yeah, it's a very unique theatre, with plenty of customers. I'm going to see Ghostbusters on the 14th (worser half's favourite movie of all time).

Halloween on the big screen would be amazing. It's just one of those films which was made to be seen in the dark😀
