I really, really want to go. Some friends from another site are going and I really want to meet them. Plus, they went last year and said it was a really good weekend.

Wtf? This is such a better line up than last year. I'm jealous. I'd love to meet everyone who's announced so far (especially Jewel and Alan). The only ones I cared about last year were James and Nick, the other guests were just a bonus.
 
I absolutely cannot wait for HW2 now. Now to plan a costume...Hmm...Who else has booked tickets so far then? 🙂
We're having a problem booking the hotel, there doesn't seem to be any availability left, at all. 🙁
 
We're looking into it, but we'd prefer to stay at the Thistle, to be honest. There're a few rooms left on the site we book on last year, but we got it for £90 for all three of us for both nights, last year, and this year it's £200 and something ¬¬ My Mum's considering us not going at all D: I am determined to find a room 😛
 
Oh gosh, how did you get it for that price last year? It was like way more expensive when i checked, that's why i never stayed at the Thistle. Although it would be nice, i just don't have that kind of money. Man i''m gonna be drooling over Jewel Staite, i think i have a crush on her. ^.^
 
I don't know, cause my mother is a genius? xD She's gonna try ringing the Thistle one day this week to get a better quote, but if that fails, goodness knows what we're going to do 😛 I don't really wanna stay at the Sheraton, I'd rather stay at the Thistle, but to be honest I'm not going to go complain as long as I can actually go ;D

Mmm, Jewel Staite, I know what you mean 😉 And Alan Tudyk is mighty fine, too. But yknow, Emma Caulfield! They need to get her! 😛 I can't wait for Friday nights party theme to be announced, I need to start planning a Friday night costume! 😛

I heard the Sheraton is nicer to stay at, but if it's cheaper at the Thistle then I can see why you'd rather stay there. Not like there's much time spent in the rooms anyway.

I totally hate the Thistle though. We had a big problem with checking in, and our room was supposed to be a twin room, but they had the two single beds pushed together and we couldn't move them apart.

That's not really my issue, it's just that if we stayed at the Sheraton my Mum would make me leave the parties super early and I was playing on staying later this year (We left early last year, and found out that the parties got better later on), still the Sheraton is better than no-where. Last year I was only in the room to sleep, so I wasn't too bothered though everyone else seemed to have complaints about the Thistle. I don't really mind where I stay, to be honest, as long as I have somewhere to stay.
 
I think we really need the party themes soon; there'll definitely be themes, Tasha, we just need to be patient, but it's too hard. 😛 Bitten is next Friday; and I think once that's over and done with they'll have time to give us our party themes, at least, as then there's a bit of a breather before the next con.

We'll, most likely, get a minimum of two more guests. I say a minimum because there's a chance we could get seven, but I doubt it, to be honest. Eternal Twilight (*Tries to resist from throwing any Twilight related insults in here* ;D) already has seven guests, and that con is the weekend before Hallowhedon 2. There's usually six guests at cons; last year the only reason we had five was because of Harry dropping out at the last minute, and considering there's Buffy, Angel, Dollhouse and Firefly cast to pick from it's not like they'd be short for guests; especially with less people filming October this year than were last year.

Anyway, I sound like I'm trying to be some know-it-all when in all fairness, I have no idea; I'm just guessing. And hoping for Emma Caulfield <33 for more guests to be announced in the near future. 😀 I think we might possibly get one in August, but it depends really, when people can commit and stuff. /Babblefest over xD
 
now the themes have been announced what are you wearing? I'm not sure but I'll probably do some kind on army girl.
