Yes you CAN buy them on the day. My friend on another forum just decided she was going and she emailed them and they said you can buy them at the check in bit. 😉

I'm doing a Firefly rewatch just to get me perked up for this weekend! 😀

I've already met Julie Benz years ago, it was only really because of Christian Kane that I was thinking of going to Vampire Ball. The guests of HW2 are a lot better, mainly because I've never met any of them

Me! I'm staying at the Thistle, I'm going on my own so I thought it would be easier
 
I'm staying there for FOUR nights.
I am broke naow. 🙁 All the coaches were fully booked, so we could only travel tomoz.
I leave at 8am. *facepalms* 😛
 
Staying at the Thistle myself. Was thinking Sheraton cos its swanky and all but Thistle was same price and it Included breakfast so my stomach led me. Everyone got their costumes? I'm sorted for Saturday but still trying to wrangle something together for the Iniative party. Combats versus Labcoats?..or perhaps something demonic...

I'm sharing a room with a friend who'd already booked the Sheraton... I've heard it's nicer than the Thistle.

Got my costumes... gonna wear a labcoat over a dress on Friday, then I'm a vampire on Saturday. 😀
 
I'm doing the labcoat over a dress thing too, but i've been wearing my halloween custome to work this week

What's your costume for the Saturday?

I did the labcoat thing for Friday cos it was cheap, spent quite a bit more on my Saturday costume so I wanted to keep the cost down.
 
Travelling is gonna be a pain alright. I leave tomorrow evening. I've to get a boat and then two trains. Dublin really needs its own tunnel to London. 😡

Yeah the Sheraton is supposed to be a bit nicer alright. Typical me compromising comfort for the sake of food. Labcoat is a good choice, cos you can pretty much wear whatever you want underneath.

I do, but probably wont be doing much fake blood as it turns my skin pink

I didn't go last year either and first is my first con in 6 years, so it'll feel like my first time again
