Oh, I'm jealous of you all. I love how more than one country is having a convention this weekend. And despite my jealousy, at least meeting Nicholas Brendon and his twin brother Kelly was good enough. I hope you guys have fun 😛 Meeting the stars and each other.
It's party time! Today I got 4 autographs, just got to get Phina's tomorrow. Also did a group shoot and a guest encounter with Charisma 🙂

Wow! What a weekend! Had a really great time, met lots of lovely people and really enjoyed meeting the guests. Adam and Amber were especially lovely, I like how Adam shook everyone's hand and looked genuinely pleased to meet people 🙂 The hotel was gorgeous and the staff were friendly.

I had a great weekend, lots of fun and though (for me) it was a little quieter than last year, I had an amazing time and met lots of great people.
The guests were great (though I'm still unsure what to make of Charisma). Amber was absolutely lovely and I think is my favourite con-guest to date - not that I've met that many! Adam was a pleasant surprise and I agree with [MENTION=11353]UnderYourSpell[/MENTION], I thought it was great how he shook everyone's hand and really made an effort to talk to you. We wondered if this had something to do with what he was saying in one of his talks about trying to make you feel comfortable with him, because of the negative associations with his character Warren.
The hotel was amazing, unlike others I loved the decor - made you feel really grand with chandeliers everywhere! Breakfast being included with the room was great but I think I've reached my limit of Full English breakfasts for the year! Bar prices at the parties were ridiculous though. Almost £5 for a small glass of wine!
The talks were interesting but I think the ones where they had someone else on stage to react against were better. Some stupid questions asked again (seriously, 'are you related to some other random Busch guy?' - what kind of question was that? 🙄) but on the whole good. I'm not sure why Charisma forgot (couldn't be bothered...?) to use her mic halfway through one of her talks; and why no one reminded her to use it (though perhaps they were a little afraid of her!)
I enjoyed the parties though I didn't stay too late on any of the nights. It was fun dressing up and I was happy with how my costume turned out on the Saturday night.
The dealers room was a little disappointing, last year I was able to get a couple of small things cheap as some more mementoes, but everything in there was quite expensive and there wasn't a great deal of variety.
I'm really glad I went and it was nice to meet some BBers, though some of you only briefly. It's nice to be able to put faces to names!

I can see what you mean about Charisma, I think it was just her sense of humour, plus the fact they need to sort the lighting out a bit so the lights are not right in their eyes making them hot. And I think the guests would have liked to see who they are talking to.
I agree about drinks prices, I had a vodka and coke and it was £5.20! I was on the free water for the rest of the weekend.
I can't comment on the dealer room as this was my first con. I enjoyed the auction though, I didn'd bid on anything -it was a bit fast paced for me an I didn't know what was coming up next.

Thanks to everyone especially [MENTION=8885]nightshade[/MENTION] for helping me settle in and answering my questions. I lost you after the second night but I hope you had a good time.
I had a great time at my dinner, I sat with Anthony & Charisma. She was really lovely away from the convention she was so much more relaxed.

I had a great time meeting you all, the guests were a lot better than I was expecting as there were only 4 per day. I loved doing the guest encounters as well, hopefully I'll be able to go next year and do some again.

[MENTION=8885]nightshade[/MENTION] Yes it was just me and Monika, she was lovely though. Two other people bid at the auction for the dinner for £120 which I thought was quite a good price. They were very nice too. I din't really go to the parties much I mainly stayed in the hotel bar. My friend came to visit me on the sunday night and we stayed an extra night in the hotel which was nice. I went to the Anthony encounter which was good and I also when to the Adam Busch encounter which was amazing. I think I saw you in it, I may be mistaken though. I could have been waving at the wrong person lol oh dear.

I think I need to bring more money next year, because the guest encounters sound like great fun! Maybe I will go Silver/Gold too - had T-Shirt and 'Hello my name is GOD' badge envy!

I had a really great time 🙂 It was my first Hallowhedon convention, and I really enjoyed it.
Adam Busch was a really nice surprise ! I wasn't expecting him to be so nice and so fun. His Q/A was really great.
I just realized that I could have met some of the members of this forum, too bad... Maybe another time...

Agree - Dothatgirl's LJ and website are absolutely fantastic! She draws, she makes amazing videos, she writes con reports... She's a one-woman studio.
When I read her reports it feels like I'm there with other fans.
