Yeah BB meet up for sure! Woulda been easy with Thistle to meet at the White Horse before hand. Anyone know any spots near the new hotel? Otherwise we could just meet in the lobby or somethin like that. Excited to meet you guys!

Say i'll be going silver myself. Maybe gold for the right guest but it would seriously have to be one of my top three and i doubt any of them will be going.
 
If I go I'll get silver. I don't think I met any BB people last year, but then I didn't really know who was going beforehand.

We were at the White Horse for pretty much every meal though, lol. And then there's a (pretty expensive but seriously yummy) Chinese restaurant down the road the opposite way. The group I was with went there on the Sunday evening and sitting at the table across from us were Robin, Jewel and Stephanie, lol.

I hope she'll go, too, but I just worry about my reaction. Seriously, I would pay to see myself meet her. I'll embarass myself so much, if I ever do, I can gurantee it.

Oooh, I concur, I'd love to meet Eliza, too! But, if she went everyone would be crowding round her, as with most of the more popular Whedonverse guests. That's my one qualm with anyone like Eliza, James, etc. going, I'd probably get about a minute with each one over the course of the weekend. But, hey, if a big guest went and some smaller guests I really want to meet, I'd be happy to have the smaller ones all to myself. 😛

Ah, yes. 😉 We should definitely have a BB meet up, if enough BBers go, at some point on the Friday. It'd be fun. 😀

You should go, jr243, cons are really fun. 😀 Not to sure if they'd go for James again, considering he was at HW1, but hey, it's a possibility. 🙂 Do what my friend is doing, and ask if you can get a ticket for doing well in your GCSEs, or something. 😉

Im like definitely going, and i will probaly get Silver, unless one of my top 5 is announced 😛 And ofc depending i get good GCSE's 😛 I cant wait I reallly want Emma, Summer, Amy (even though im already gonna meet her at echo-2 😵), David.B and Julie Benz 😀
 
Yup, i don't think i'll buy my ticket until a few monthss(absolutely broke) ;D, going for silver again. Although i'd DEFINITELY get gold for Summer or Eliza! NO doubt about it 🙂
 
Oh, you both suck. 😛 You should both get tickets now. And get gold. ;D (If you don't, we're at least going to guest encounters together again. It's my new law. 😛)
 
Im sure last year he said that even if "friends" werent in the same group, someone might be able to let us in photos and autos at the same time 😛
 
Why is friends in inverted commas, hmm? Are we not really friends? How rude. 😛 Oh, and where did you hear that, from one of the crew? I thought it generally meant people of the same ticket type, not sure if it's possible if we got different types.
 
Guest encounters? mmmmmmm maybe gold isn't such a bad idea, you get to meet all the guests for an extraaa £60?

Guest encounters rock. I want with Charisma! Yes. Gold! Gold is nice. Was that sarcasm? xD I think the extra money is worth it; drinks reception, t-shirt, better seats in all the talks...Okay, it doesn't sound that much better, but...Gold. Shiny. 😛
 
I don't think I'd buy gold unless you got a lot more thrown in. From the things I read after last year's Hallowhedon, the drinks reception was apparently a bit of a fail? With a few people dominating the guests and leaving everyone else to the side, and there not being enough room to see/talk to/hear the guests? I don't know how true that is but it's what I heard.

I didn't mind sitting further back in the hall, either, so the priority seating wouldn't bother me. I managed to get all my signings and photoshoots done so that priority aspect of Gold isn't important to me either.

And the pressies... eh, nice, but not worth the extra money, IMO.

But I definitely think paying a little bit extra for Silver is worth it over Standard.

Personally i would rather spend that extra 60 quid on a 45 minute chat with one of the guests in a GE. From last years experience, that was so fun. Especially with Jewel 😉 Eh Vicky? And i would much rather have one maybe two of those with the guests, than the perks of getting gold over silver 😀
