To be honest, I do see that gold isn't that much better than silver...A small part of me regrets going for the Gold, but either way I had to pay £100 myself, and my parents paid the rest, so it made little difference to me, I just thought I'd try out gold this time, after two years of silver.

The guest encounters are definitely going to be what I spend the majority of my money on. 😀 I adore them. Yes, the Jewel one rocked. 😉 I did two at HW1, and three at HW2, I really think they're the highlight of my weekend. I'll probably try as many guest encounters with different guests as I can this year...Unless Emma goes, then I'll go to all the Emma GEs, of course. 😛

lmfao, yeah i REALLY want a GE with Charisma!! I'm SO getting it! 😛 I didn't have enough money for guest encounters last year, well i did but there was only so much i could spend really, and i didn't want to keep on lifting more and more money, :$
 
I know would have loved a guest encounter last year but also lacked money. This year I'm def gonna try get one with CC. Excited to see who else they're gonna announce...come on, the anticipations killing me!

Amber Benson and Adam Busch have now been announced. 🙂 Three amazing guests (Including Charisma, I'm not just bad at math...), this line up is looking awesome. I'm sooo excited. 😀

Omg!!!! You got the VIP ticket??? Thats like £895, I am so Jealous!!! I am getting silver at best 🙁. Cant wait to go though!! The guests are amazing!! 😀
 
its a ridiculous amount of money. But its probably the only convention i'm going to go to! I sold much stuff on ebay to justify the spend! I got the confirmation email through im so exited! It's my first convention as well! All my friends hate Buffy so i'm going by myself 🙁

Ahh, you should so come to more, they are so fun!!! I haven't ordered my ticket but will do soon 😀. Awh, I didnt have any friends with me the first time, but you will meet loads of people there, and you can hang out with me and the people I met last year (who are awesome BTW) when your not using your VIP perks 😀
 
That would be great thank you! Nearer the time we can arrange to met at one of the parties or something! I'm so excited but a bit nervous! I think i'm going to stay at the hotel so i'll be there all weekend.
Does everyone really dress up at the parties? Because i look silly in fancy dress but i dont want to stick out if i don't!
 
Awesome!! Yeah I think there is going to be some kind of Buffy-Boards meet up, as quite a few people are going 😀. The hotel is really nice, I went there for a con in April. Really posh though 😛

Not everyone dresses up, but most people do 😀 And dont worry about looking silly, because amidst all of the costumes its pretty much impossible to look silly 😀

Im probably not staying at the hotel, but I will be there from morning till the end of the party each night 😀

Maybe ill dig out some old costumes then!
It takes me roughly an hour and half to get there so i guess i wouldn't have to stay at the hotel thinking about it but it does make it easier!
 
Haha, you definitely wont be a lost puppy, everyone is so friendly and you know you have something in common with everyone so its easy to start a conversation! 😀

Like I said the hotel is really nice and there is a mcdonalds right next door if you dont like the hotel prices for food 😛

I have to wait until I get paid to order my ticket though. Anyone got an idea how long they'll be on sale? Any danger of selling out?
 
I think it depends on what ticket you want. Vip, gold and silver will probably sell first but i don't think standard tickets will sell out at all! You've probably got at least a month maybe two though!
 
Last year the gold only sold out about a week before the event so you have ages dont worry. The standard and Silver didnt sell out, and they didnt have VIP last year so im not sure about them 😀
