My manager signed off my holiday request today for the HW weekend so I am able to go, woo!

Will buy my ticket on payday, debating whether to go Standard or Silver... the only real benefit to Silver is the photos are included but I don't know if it works out cheaper to buy Standard and then photos separately, as there are currently only three guests (so far - hoping for more of course).

Anyone got costumes planned?

As we still don't know the party themes I don't know if I'll be dressing up. I will for the Saturday night but not sure about the others, depends on when and what the themes are

I got standard but I'll get the group shot photo instead of individual ones

A meet up after registration on Friday sounds good, not sure what the hotel is like to have a drink there or would you all rather go to one of the local pubs

Last year everyone seemed to go to the White Horse, but that's quite far away from the hotel the con's at now.

I've been bored today and looking at costume websites, think I've pretty much decided on what I'm doing and I've bought a couple of things. In my head it'll look fabulous but in reality it probably won't!

I'm pretty much decided on wearing the rocky horror outfit that I'm wearing at the Vampire Ball, for the Saturday night. Not sure if I'll dress up on friday if they don't announce the themes soon

I was amazed at the effort everyone put into their costumes last year. I did the vampire thing at HW2 and it looked all right but I want to try and go a little more out-there this time. We'll see.

Yeah I dressed up all nights last year, and there were some amazing costumes that people were wearing.

The dress I ordered for my costume came in the post today and I've just tried it on - it fits well and looks good (I think). Yay!

I'm hoping it'll look great with accessories and make-up. 😀
