Hallowhedon 4 will be taking place on the 26-28th October at the Radisson Edwardian, Heathrow

The first guest has been announced as Sean Maher
 
I'd love to go to a Hallowhedon!! How much is it?? Is there info on the web yet? 🙂

No site up yet but here's the forum the ticket for last weekend cost:

Standard Adult Programme at £78
Standard Child Programme at £29
Silver Programme at £135 - Limited in numbers!
Gold Programme at £195 - Limited to only 150!
VIP Programme at £895 - Limited to 4!!
 
I will definitely think about going, but considering I only bought my ticket for this year in August, I will leave it a while!

That said, if James is announced... I'm there!
 
I want to go again next year, but it'll be dependant on guest and money
 
awesome! I think I've started something now and will have to go every year cos I know what I'll be missing out on!
 
They said at the con this year that they are going to try and get a mixture of people from Buffy/Angel/Firefly/Dollhouse/Dr Horrible Sing Along Blog. They also said they are going to try and get people they have never had there before as well as some favourites. So hopefully it will be a very colourful line up. Although I quite liked it this year that it was just Buffy and Angel :/
 
yeah I prefer Buffy and Angel, but luckily a lot of the cast has crossed over into the other Whedon shows. Although I do love Firefly as well and would love to meet Nathan Fillion
 
It's great that there is a guest announcement, and with a cast member I haven't met yet!

I found about Hallowhedon recently, and it sounds so awesome! Can you guys who've visited it before tell me about your experiences? And what's the difference between the different programs you can buy? If I were to buy a standard program, would it be worth it?

I am actually seriously thinking about going. I'm going to start saving money right away. And find someone to go with. 🙂

It would be so fun if some of us could met up too! I'd love to meet you all IRL!

I had Silver for HW2, and Standard for HW3. I think the silver was worth it for 2, because I wanted pics with all the guests, but standard was fine for me last year because I didn't want a picture with them all, and so it left me some extra money to do things like the group photo, and to get one of Giles' (he's the photographer who takes pics at the parties) photos.

Both times I've been I had a fantastic time, both years I met up with people from fandom, which was great. I'm definitely planning to go this year. It's a fair bit of money to spend on one weekend, but I think it's worth it and a great experience.

That sounds great! So if you get the standard you pay extra for photos, but if you get the silver it's included in the price? Also, how long in advance do you usually have to buy a ticket for? And what about hotels, should I be expecting to book way in advance because a lot of people are in town?

Yeah, photos included with Silver, extra on Standard. I found it worked out cheaper for me last time to get standard and the. Just buy the photos I wanted as extra.

I think you can buy tickets right up to the time of the con, as long as there are still spaces available. I don't think they've ever run out of Standard places, but I think the gold and silver are limited to a certain amount - it should say how many on the website.

I stayed in the actual con hotel last year which was really nice, the room price was reasonable. My friend booked it but only a couple of months in advance, so I don't know what the availability is like nearer to the time.

I went to Hallowhedon 3 last year which was my first ever convention. I went on my own but spoke to [MENTION=8885]nightshade[/MENTION] beforehand and she helped me out and introduced me to a few people, so I had a really great time!
I bought a standard ticket one month before going, so I don't think they ran out of standard tickets. Although buying a ticket this late meant that I was sat right at the back during guest talks! This year I may go silver or gold (gold because I was jealous of the cool t-shirt/badge/mug everyone got!)
I booked the hotel in about August, and I thought it was a bargain because the hotel was lovely!! The breakfast was great, the staff were lovely-I'm looking forward to going back again!

I'm trying to find someone who will go with me, hopefully I'll find someone! 🙂 I also have to check a few things with my uni, since this is the semester I'll be having my internship and I'm not sure if I can be away (if I go I would probably want to stay for about a week in the country to get the most out of my experience 🙂). I really hope I can go, everything sounds awesome!
