Hallowhedon 7/ Vampire Ball 6

This is the first time they are doing a Buffy con, but they have been around for a few years
 
It's a bit of a shame about Hallowhedon. I had some great times at that con! But I agree with nightshade, so many people were waiting for updates for this, but with no news/information/guest updates it's no surprise people didn't buy tickets really. Anyway- trying something new and going to Vampire Ball this year 🙂

I would highly recommend meeting Geroge. I met him a few times in my early conventions and he is a darling and very entertaining. It is really good to see him back on the circuit again. It would be interesting to meet James after that article that Lyri posted about his early convention experiences.

Shame about the cancellation of Hallowhedon. Despite how many shows they have going they have not just given up on it because of other companies doing similar ones or because they have other events going on. This year we ran Sherlocked and Chevron at the same time because there is enough crew and organisers to go around.
 
Hallowhedon was brilliantly run during the con, and had been on the same weekend as Belfast con before, so I had no issue with on the weekend organisation, it was more leading up to it that seemed unorganised.

Julie Benz has had to cancel Vampire Ball due to being needed for Hawaii 5 0
 
Charisma Carpenter has been added as a replacement for Julie
 
I had a good time at my first Vampire Ball! Took a while to get used to how it was run. Georges Jeanty was on the dance floor for hours, he's an amazing dancer! So glad you gave me the courage to start going to conventions @nightshade I'm very grateful! Sorry you couldn't make it.
