Hamilton is a "Child of the Senior Partners" he was created a long time ago so he basically immortal . here is an interesting tidbit during his time before he became the Liaison to the Senior Partners he fought Drogyn the Battlebrand

He was very similar to Caleb (endowed power by a Big Bad), but I think he was created by them rather than recruited like Caleb.
