Man, this day sucked.
I slept for like 11 hours, I hate that. I mean, I know exactly why, I went nuts during yesterday's workouts and on the top of that I went for a long walk in the evening. Seriously tired. So I wake up today and I know that it's going to be one of those days, my legs feel funny, I'm a bit sore here and there but OK, I get out of bed, change into my workout clothes and do my stretches. It's agonizing, it always is to me but today especially so. I sit on my indoor rower, I start to row and it's bad. Really bad. The not even Mastodon's Leviathan is going to help me kind of bad. Still, I push on, I even do some intervals and end up feeling pretty great. After the rower I usually do some strength training with resistance bands or some body weight exercises but not today, too tired. Shower, breakfast ( oatmeal with bananas, so, so good ) then I do some stuff on the internet. And suddenly I start feeling like shit, I blame the combination of long sleep, tiredness and stupid weather. Anyway, after lunch I'm peeling myself an apple and of course, I cut my finger. Screw the finger, it's not deep or anything but whenever I cut myself I get dizzy and nauseous. It's pretty annoying, you know. And even though I don't get like that during blood tests I still get super pale and look like I'm dying, nurses always freak out, it's kinda funny. Still not feeling so hot so I decide to skip the afternoon workout like a lazy weakling and of course, I can't even play the guitar because of the bloody cut. Damn it. I do some guitar related research on the internet though. Basically, I need some cheap box with a cabinet simulator to plug in the pedals on one side and headphones on the other so I can play at night. Haven't decided what to get yet but I'm getting there. Then I listen to some
Chapterhouse,
The Stargazer Lilies ( my latest discovery, pretty damn great in my opinion ) and
this. Yeah, it's shoegaze with Hatsune Miku on vocals, crazy but I like it. So that's about it. Not that bad of a day after all I guess. OK, I need to get some sleep.
