What was your happiest memory as a fan of the Whedonverse? Doesn't matter what show.

For me it's discovering "BTVS: Chaos Bleeds" on PS2 at Blockbuster in 2006

Erm erm I'm a huge collector and a huge fan of the show so here are some of mine 🙂

1. Whenever I watch Earshot and Badgirls I have a huge grin on my face cause I LOVE them episodes

2. When I brought Mr Gordo and Buffy Giga Pet from the internet (wish people saw me I was dancing around like a idiot)

3. When my grandparents brought me the old xbox so I can play the xbox Buffy game 😛 (still addicted to it!)

4. When I got a gamecube and choas bleeds for Christmas when I was a kid 🙂

5. When I got my buffy inflatable chair and angel statue 🙂

and of course when buffy first aired I got so happy when I put on the tv and it would say brand new Buffy the vampire slayer next 😀

CHAOS BLEEDS!!!
For me, it was my first viewing of BtVS and AtS. My friend and I had an extended holiday, so for weeks on end we watched very many back to back episodes a day. It was a great feeling to be wondering what happens next, and watch it all marathon style. Awesome time 🙂 We watched every episode form both shows.

-Angel getting his own spin off show.

-Finding other Whedon fans (BB) that are still discussing Buffy.

Ohh jealous! I never find other whedon fans! "What whos that guy?" (Me:) "He made the Avengers!!!" (LE other person): "Never saw the film". LE me (going to hit my head against the next tree for some hours!)
For me it was hearing that Joss was getting the chance to make Serenity and at least finish the story started in Firefly.

Agreed I was so happy to hear this and to go see Serenity for the first time (and all subsequent times 🙂 )

-Angel getting his own spin off show.

-Finding other Whedon fans (BB) that are still discussing Buffy.

Also much agreed on these two points. Especially the second one 🙂

Just... watching Buffy and Angel. The epic moments, like Becoming Part II, Hush, OMWF, end of Two To Go etc. Also, getting my Buffy discs (I watched the stuff online juust before they were all taken down) and Angel discs.

Wow, I have had so many good experiences. Being involved in this fandom has enriched my life so much.

For me, meeting James Marsters is pretty high up there. His pretty blue eyes still burn in my mind.

Also, being an Organizer for the local Buffy meetup group. We hosted a trivia night once. That was a lot of fun.

Mostly, though it's some fic I've read. There are a few stories I have read that truly blew me away.

I think my happiest moment so far was getting my Prophecy Girl Buffy doll for free at work, and finding BB and realizing there were still so many devoted fans of the shows out there. 🙂

Awww...
Not sure... there is of course many moments in the show that I loved while watching it for the first time. But I watched everything on DVD in a very short timespan so all is blurred together.

I think I'm gonna pick the release of dr. horrible's sing-along blog instead.
It was such high anticipation that day, then their servers broke down, it wasn't available in Europe at first and all kind of problems.

But it was so brilliant when I finally was able to watch it. Overall just a great experience.

My best Whedonite memory is not a single moment, but pretty much watching both shows back to back for the first time (I watched BtVS when it first aired, but they were already halfway through season 4 when I was finally allowed to watch every week) with my flatmate during my last year in grad school.

It's not just the show, although I loved it of course, but it's also the brilliant memories of living with my best friend and uber geek, spending my days in the library and occasionally in class, then coming home exhausted and finding she had already prepared a TV-friendly supper, the menu music was playing and we'd watch and be totally absorbed until silly o'clock. Or she's be out and I'd attempt to cook (haha), and if she wasn't home by a certain time I'd text her and ask what time she'd be home to watch Buffy. We made thoroughly weird party guests throughout the entire year, because we were communicating almost exclusively via Whedon quotes and crack up all the time because something would remind us of a scene (there's a video of us doing the Dance of Joy at a birthday somewhere, banjoed out of our heads on Echo Falls rosè).

So, yeah. That pretty much covers it.. Of course there's many intrinsic moments of the show that I loved, but nothing beats the overall experience as a whole.

Hmm so many good Buffy memories 🙂
Maybe when i was young collecting btvs box set videos and i couldnt find season 1 in any of the shops and there it was at a car boot glowing at me to buy it (just in time for dvds to come out so had to get shot of them all pfft)
Coming home from school looking forward to a new episode
Finding other fans of the buffster so many years later still talking about the show on BB
and of course..Meeting James Marsters and Juliet Landau in september will be my fav memory of all time eeeeeeeeee🙂

Maybe collecting all Buffy on dvd, there were a few episodes (mostly in season 6/7) that I never saw and I was so excited to finally watch the show in english 🙂
