I'm happy as the person I gave up on has got back in touch with me and actually missed talking to me, when I was thinking I was being a terrible bore. So yeah, yay 🙂 Also, the parents are going away for a week so I have the house to myself, glad to have some peace!
 
I'm just happy. Life is good.

Haven't seen you around lately! Welcome back. :)
I found my new favorite way to roleplay (ask format, mlp: fim verse, on tumblr), I have an awesome girlfriend, I have cupcakes in the kitchen, and those dumb fire ants stopped biting my feet. ^^

I was totally going to do more of my rewatch today, which would have been awesome! But instead something even more awesome happened!

A friend I haven't seen in a while came and kidnapped me for the day. 😀 Her son is growing so fast and he's so adorable! Super happy!
 
Tabby and Zoe's posts above made me smile, so that made me happy.

AND, for all of those who remember when I posted about co-hosting the Hellmouth Podcast...I just finished recording! Let's just say I had a lot of fun! Bryan and Angie are so nice and they made me feel comfortable and all of that. The episode finished recording at like, 2:26p.m my time on Saturday and Bryan wants to release the episode before 2:26 Saturday American time. So...it should be out really soon and when it is I'll post a link for all those who might want to listen to me discussing 'Something Blue' on the podcast.

Also, the channel Vibe is having a Buffy marathon right now. 'Band Candy's' playing...is there anything better?
 
Finding my way back here again after another unintentional absence! Oh, and due to a random twist of fate, there are 5 strawberry tarts in the fridge. What more do you need in life?
 
So I'm at work. Listening to the third book in the Dresden Files, read by James Marsters . . . and am about an hour or two away from finishing a drawing.

Can my job get any better? . . .Probably if they paid me more . . . but that's beside the point.

I always get a little euphoric when a drawing starts to come together.

Oh and! My husband is going to come out here early to bring me food!

There's happiness all over the place for me today! *does happy dance

For reals. If listening to this audiobook was the only thing on my list of happy for today, it would still be enough happy to do the happy dance.

AHHHHHH!!!

I just bought tickets for me and the hubby to go to the New York Comic Con!

I haven't gone in years and last time I went was as a Vendor with my job so no fun times were to be had by me. 🙁

But THIS time. . . FREEDOM!!!!!

I'm at work and it is soo hard to contain myself.

The Hubby and I almost never get to do anything fun.

I've found a really good fanfiction that I've been looking for, for years - I have all but the last 5 chapters printed out and trying to find the whole fic seemed impossible but I've finally found it. Now I just need a week, loads of snacks to keep me going, in order to read it all!

I'm reminiscing about my Papal today. He's been gone for 11 years now. It's crazy to think of all that's happened without him. I miss him terribly, but it was his time.

I'm very thankful for all he's done for me. He was a father when I didn't have one. He showed me how real men step up when their family needs them. How anyone, really, steps up for their family. Which is why I do what I'm doing. I could have gotten another job and told my mom I couldn't help Gramma, but Papal wouldn't have done that. He would have helped.

He was a very funny man. Always joking with people and laughing. I don't really remember him without a smile on his face. And he loved with all his being. Some of his last words were, "Goodbye. I love you, Jennafer." I'm so thankful I got to hear that. I'm incredibly happy, and very lucky to have someone like him fill my father's role for the 12 years he did.
 
There's Glastonbury coverage on the TV, the best musical moment of the year as well. 🙂
 
Today I went to Boarders since they're going out of business. This guy was reading the Buffy Tales book. I read half of Tales of the Slayers with him and then we geeked about about Buffy. Turns out this guy is a Spuffy and a HUGE Spike fan. We had a lot of fun and good stuff to talk about! AHHHH I love meeting Buffy fans out in the world!
