It's the International Women's Day today. I wish all the girls and women here a lovely evening! For once I'm actually headed out to a rally to mark the day, and I have also made a Kiva loan to a woman in a rather less privileged situation than myself.

Happy International Women's Day! It's the 100th anniversary of Women's Day this year. :yay:

It's only around 11 AM, but having a lovely day so far. Donated to the Women's History museum in my city (one of very, very few women's history museums in the U.S, so I'm lucky to have it!) and planning on scheduling a visit for later this week. 🙂
 
Happy women's day everyone! My favourite day of the year! A day to both acknowledge women's situation over the world and to celebrate the progress the feminist movement has done so far! So I hope you both discuss and dance! 🙂

I had a great day, even though I'm sick. Had a lovely pancake breakfast and drank pink champagne with my best friends. Played scrabble with made up words and laughed. Now I'm thinking about going to my friends house and ending the evening with watching Buffy, but I don't feel that great, so I'm not sure if I should go.
 
Happy Women's Day everyone!

My parents left yesterday and I don't have a boyfriend so I didn't get a rose or anything.. but I'm having a bottle of wine with my flatmate later (to remove the temptation, because we're both giving up booze for lent lol). Life is good!
 
Like every 8th March, I completely forget it's Women's day, and like every 8th March, I think "How come I still manage to forget?"
