I'm watching this episode right now. This is the one where the guy works in the lab and is trying to stop time with his girlfriend. Not one of the greatest episodes....but I found something interesting!

The lab that is used is the exact same lab for Fred at Wolfram and Hart. Same steps, same glass window that Angel flied out of when Illyria tosses him.

Anybody else notice this?

No I didn't realize that. That is crazy! I mean, it's not that surprising though, all the alley scenes are the same set. Same thing in Buffy, lots of the sets get reused and if you pay close attention, you can tell.

I never noticed that, are you sure because just looking in my minds eye i don't think they looked the same, but as i said I'm not sure and am probably wrong

I just watched that episode recently and never noticed. Thinking back, I kinda see it. Hmm.

I love that episode. Not sure why. Theres just something about it.

yeah, now that you mention it, it does look similar!
another 're-used' set i found was Harmony's bathroom in 'Harm's Way' it's the same set that was used for Cordy's bathroom in S3's 'That Vision Thing'

I love love love most of this episode!!!

The entire Lorne scenes and those demons and people singing, priceless!! I love everything that has to do with Karatas(sp) They sang great ^.^

Edit:

Edit: haha!! Plus Wesley's little thing where he told us everything about what happened at the scene, nearly accused everyone, showed there faces the wierd old lady was hilarious who was sitting nect to the boy who he called impotent and not intelligent enough for the crime ahahaha! This was an amazing episode! Who is with me!

There have been some good observations here about sets, but they reused a lot of them very cleverly.

One that stands out to me is S1's "I Fall To Pieces" (episode 4). The woman the disembodied psychic doctor was stalking, Melissa, I think, lived in the "Hyperion". When the doctor is standing outside of her apartment it's the street view looking at the garden entrance of the Hyperion.

I notice them reusing sets all the time, sometimes it is annoying coz I get distracted from the stories by trying to figure out where the set is from and what has changed on it! Have you seen the extras on the dvds? they sometimes have a set feturette. dont let it ruin it for you though!
