My birthday was pretty rad! As usual, I had my themed birthday (2016 being Harry Potter, last year being Buffy) This year was The Hunger Games! Everyone dressed up and we had a nerf gun battle down at my near by park. I was really impressed by everyone's costumes. We had two Katniss's (myself included- even ended up dying my hair brown especially), two Effy's, a Haymich, then everyone else wasn't a specific character but absolutely went all out to dress up.
But it was so much fun! I made my usual chocolate cake- which has it's on going joke from previous years as it's always got to be gluten and dairy free (yeah, poor me).
I say usual joke. At my 26th party, one 'friend' was pretty rude about my cake being gf and expected me to make a 'normal' cake and my own gf cake (there were 8 people at that one). And her favourite buzz word was "In my profession/In my professional opinion" despite still being at uni. Basically, just being a bitch. (That year her and my ex got into an argument about a topic that my ex was very well aware about- she who had finished her degree and been working in said field for five years) So the joke is that "In my professional opinion, that cake tasted great/was moist/ anything else you want to say about a cake" and post about it on Facebook (Yes 'moist'. Because people hate that word and that rude chick said the cake was dry)
So everyone who wasn't there at my 26th has educated about "In my profession" girl 😛 She's her own walking meme.
Yesterday (because of times zones and all- so my actual birthday) I went to the beach with my girlfriend and her kiddo. Had a picnic and then dinner with her family. Overall, was just a really nice chilled out day after having my party the previous day.
Overall, one really awesome birthday! (Now, back to the books for uni... Ugh...)

We had four rounds. I was the first one dead in the first round which was an individual free for all. The next three rounds we did teams. The last two rounds I was the only survivor from my team- only because I ran around the entire time (yay for my latest hobby of jogging) The round it was me and one other mate. I died 😛
