(Some evil little ghost in the system has informed me that I can't give anymore reputation points for 24 hours, so I hope the rest of you don't feel slighted)
Dark Avenger--Don't worry, at my age, I try to keep putting birthdays off, too.
Relic--It's taken me 61 years of abuse, pain, and debauchery to reach my present age, but I look much younger. 60 1/2, someone told me just last week.
For those wondering what age 61 feels like, it feels just like 31, only it hurts more.
My thoughts for the moment? How lucky I was to have found this place and all of the wonderful people here, even the Bangels.
If I had a theme song at the moment, it would be George Burns singing "I Wish I Was 18 Again." (It's on YouTube if you're curious)
As for cake and presents, my granddaughter is coming over tomorrow to help bake me a birthday cake, and we're all going to the Georgia Aquarium. Beyond that, life itself, with all of its wonderful experiences and challenges to be overcome, is the greatest present of all, and I enjoy it every day.
