There's really not much to do when you're a grown-up (without children) on Easter. Except eat candy. Lots of chocolate bunnies and peeps. 😀

In the Netherlands the political correctness is a big problem in regards to Easter right now. Some mainstream store said happy spring instead of happy easter. But then in an interview people were asked what Easter was...one dude said: 'Jesus escaped'. That guy made my day.

Anyway Happy commercialised food eating Easter all 🙂

And to the ones who actually celebrate it I wish you a good Easter!

Here people dress their kids up like "witches", they come knocking on your door with a little homemade easter card and you give them candy (trick or treat without the trick basically 😀 ) So even without kids, you get to see lots of them, enough of them in fact, to make you feel very thankful you can just close the door and carry on drinking wine or whatever you're doing after throwing some candy at 'em.

So Happy Easter everyone! Bring on the candy!
Actually bring on the pie, I'll be making some raspberry pie and chocolate cake, yum.

Apparently all my friends are giving gifts to each other this Easter. Nobody told me.
All the gifts tend to be Easter themed; chocolates, etc. One (female) friend of mine just got a really inappropriate present. Some people.

On the bright side somebody got my a chocolate egg (whee!) that had lots of little chocolate eggs inside; it's like a fancy 'craft' chocolate egg with a cottage on the packaging.
