It's Friday the 13th!! To get technical, I've already started out the day with some bad luck... A little after midnight last night, my oldest daughter was in the ER getting stitches. :\

Are you superstitious about Friday the 13th? I have to say, I'm not. I always laugh at people who take stuff like this too seriously. 😉

Well so Happy Friday the 13th! Sorry for your daughter!
I'm not superstitious about it, to me its just another day

Awww, sorry to hear about your daughter. :-(

I actually love friday the 13th. I don't know why....It just feels special to me. So far it's been pretty uneventful though. 🙂

I do too! It's almost like a mini holiday! :p
It's only a night of horror movies watching. Though I don't do that... 🙂

I'm not superstitious about Friday the 13th.

Sorry about your daughter, Britt HisMrs

Thanks for the sympathies on my daughter! She's gonna be fine...

I'm not a superstitious person at all. I knew a guy in high school who wore the same undershirt under his baseball jersey for every game after they won the first one; he said it was his "good luck" jersey. I also have a friend who is scared of black cats, and carries a rabbit's foot on her keychain. 😉 It's hard for me not to look at people like that and think they're being silly, but I realise everyone has different beliefs, so I just get a giggle out of it and go on.

I'm.... I don't know if superstitious is the word.... but something.... always looking for things I consider lucky.... like happening to look at the clock and it's 11:11... or seeing the moon during the day (I don't know why but I like that) and wishing on stars and stuff....

Happy Friday the 13th!! I am not a very superstitious person. I did at a point in my life (and to some minimal degree still do) have some "compulsions" that I may do as sort of like a ritual to prevent bad luck and such. Wow well ok... I never actually thought about that and wrote it out but maybe I am more superstitious than I thought!!

Anyway, it's sort of an exciting day for me and I think of 13 as a good luck number instead of bad luck!

I'm not superstitious about bad luck on the 13th. If anything it's good luck. My father is very ill in hospital and has been on life support for nearly a month, but today he had an op to help him breath a little on his own and it went well ^_^ So yay! Good luck the 13th 😀

Plus it's Friday! Friday! Gotta get down on Friday! Looking forward to the weekend, weekend! XD

It's Friday the 13th? Really??! Oh BOY! 😀

**(Eyes everyone from the top of the stairs through shifty, scheming eyes....then lowers a picnic basket on a rope down to them).**

It puts the lotion on it's skin. It does this whenever it's told.

😛😛

My mom's maternal side of the family is kind of superstitious. None of them put their purses on the floor of the car, they throw salt over their shoulders, they don't hand each other knives, and they don't split the pole. I have slight OCD so I follow the purse and pole splitting rules. I don't really believe in the bad luck of Friday the 13th though. I usually do have bad luck, coincidentally, but I didn't today 🙂 (I knocked on wood after typing that 😉) And sorry about your daughter 🙁 stitches are not.fun.

Sorry about the little one, HisMrs Although I was never superstitious about Friday the 13TH, for some odd reason, I got scared whenever I accidently opened an umbrella inside a building. LOL. 🙂

I was never supersticious about Friday the 13th until today... today was just miserable. But I'll probably be un-superstitious by next week. This entire week was bad, so I can't blame a calendar, I guess. 🙂

I hadn't realized that it's the 13th. First half of my day was the total opposite of fun.

But the second half rocked!

I'm usually not very superstitious. Except one day a black cat ran in front of me and then immediately got hit my a car. I spent the rest of the day waiting for something even more awful to happen. Because, really, the cat getting hit was sad enough . . .

Nah, I didn't even think about it. I wouldn't have noticed if I didn't see this thread. 😉
