Well, today is Groundhog Day.. where the groundhog comes out to signify the longevity of the remaining winter months.. it was also the basis of a movie of the same name, in which the title character, played by Bill Murray, got locked in a karmic loop where he kept playing the same day (groundhog day) over and over again. Oh, I actually saw that movie and know about the day, it just has a totally different name in German (groundhog=Murmeltier) so I kind of didn't realize. See, that's what happens when you dub every single thing you show on TV in a country...kids don't even learn how to say movie titles (or a little more than the avergare farm animal, for that matter) in English!

Actually, Phil could be right on for us, Spring usually comes around late Feb. in my part of the world. The actual DATE rarely has anything to do with when the weather starts to turn warmer in Texas. Of course, if he's right, then we're looking at middle to late March....that's not heartening. We've had snow on Easter before, tho, so you can never tell.
