I am having hunger PANGS. Our thanksgiving (Canadian) was last month and there were no bears or native warriors seen. There were a couple of people who should have been tied up, however.
 
Happy turkey day for you all! It's next Thursday, isn't it? I have to wait till Christmas to have turkey...
 
Piecaken? OMG where have you been all my life? A pie with a cake topping that can take icing! Like a filled doughnut with icing, but big enough for everyone. Is there a patent I am about to infringe?

It's not pointless if you know the meaning behind it ;) Actually... it's much less pointless than Xmas is think of it (mind you I'm Canadian and our Thanksgiving is not the same as the American one)

Haha. Well I can heat up stuff and follow directions! I'm going to buy a precooked chicken (if they don't have the turkey), make some yams, bake some rolls and open a can of jellied cranberry sauce. lol. Yea I like Pangs, it's got some good comedy.

No, you take the feather ff the turkey and wander about the kitchen ruffling them! Unless you are having yams, of course. Then you just juggle the marshmallows.
 
It seems to be a case of people forgetting or choosing to forget the actual origins of Thanksgiving, a bit like Christmas really.

Well, I kinda see Xmas as a pagan holiday. As for Thanksgiving, my mother was an orthodox Jew who married a Kenienhawka (Mohawk). Preachin to the choir, or not.
