Harmony?! I hate Harmony!

I've never really had a problem with Harmony after she was sired... It was the living, breathing Harmony that bothered me more... I can't explain why... Hmmm
 
Yeah, the living, breathing Harmony was rather annoying! I just hated the way she treated Cordy after she and Xander broke up.
 
I loved Season Five of Angel because of her. I just watched that episode where she offers to torture Eve for Angel...I laughed a lot.
 
I like vampire Harmony but hated human Harmony with a passion! She was just sooo annoying and blonde, and I think that Cordy was right when she said, 'Harmony, you're a sheep!'

She just never had the sassyness that I loved about the other characters.

As a vampire I still didn't love her, but I thought she was great....
 
I dislike Harmony. I prefer chaos and conflict.. Oh Harmony the character? I never gave her much thought. She raised the occasional smile, among other things. I would, you know? But I wouldn't go out my way to.

So yeah. Put me down for some spam.

Harmony had some great, great lines throughout both series. From "Crush":

Harmony: Who is - oh, wait. I get it. Our little sex game was just the beginning. Now you've gone and picked up some cheap queen of the damned to dress up like your precious Drood-zilla.

Spike: Harm...

Harmony: You'd better not be thinking what I think you're thinking. 'Cause my answer is the same as always. No threesomes unless it's (gestures to Spike) boy, (gestures to the air) boy, (gestures to herself) girl. Or Charlize Theron.

Spike: Harm, you moron, this IS Drusilla.

I'm not sure if I "loved" Harmony as a character, either human or vampire, but I do admire Mercedes McNab's talents as a comedienne. I think it's harder than one might imagine to caricature a vapid airhead. She did it convincingly in both of Harmony's incarnations, in both series.

But looking at Harmony in "The Harvest" and comparing her to Harmony in "Not Fade Away", you become aware of how much time had passed over the life of Joss Whedon's two series.
 
I thought she was ok. but the one thing that I disliked about her was that her personality was basically the same as a vampire and as a human. Most of the time people change a lot when they go vamp, but she didn't.
 
I thought Harmony was brilliant in Buffy and Angel as a Vamp and Human!

I think she was meant to be annoying in the early days of buffy and you werent really meant to like her character because she was a bitch. But that doesnt mean that you have to hate watching her on the show. I thought she was hilarious and come on her and xander fighting in buffy! It doesnt get much funnier than that. lol.
