Harry Potter 5 comes out tomorrow!!!

Hey everyone. I just wanted to have a thread to share the joy of the long-awaited release of "Harry POtter and the Order of the Phoenix" coming out TOMORROW! I'm so excited! I can't wait for it.
What's everyone's thoughts about the Harry Potter phenomenon????

I hope you are all just as excited as I am about this wonderful event. I pre-ordered the book, and it was shipped Wednesday and they said allow 3 to 8 business days for delivery. I'm really hoping it gets here on Saturday. If not I'm going to DIE!!!

Lilah, whatever you do, DO NOT tell me who dies. I would so have to hurt you then.

And Terry, If you think HP is stupid, please do not discriminate against those of us who enjoy the books. I know that I asked for opinions about it, I'm just giving a heads up because I've had problems with that on other boards. Someone had to ruin everyone's time because he/she didn't like what the discussion was.
 
's alright, don't understand the craze, the library(at least the one I work at) has 6 copies already lol
 
terry is sooooo getting his slayage up but posting about every damn thing, no matter how un nesissary it is. any how. um to lazey to get the books so i wate for the films, lol. but on the whole HP is quite good.
 
I do the same think BuffyUKer, I was dead set against Harry Potter until one of my friends dragged me kicking and screaming(not really, but it was close) to the movies to see it
 
don't say who dies please!!! I love Harry Potter its soooooooo good!! I am so excited about the book coming out!! The Borders near my house is having a party tonight to celabrate the coming out of the book!!! I wanted to go but I couldn't!!!
 
Hey BuffyUKer and trustno1, you can always get the audiobooks of them. That way if you have a long drive ahead of you and have a tape or cd player in your car, you can listen to them. That's what my sister does and she seems to like it.

I myself ordered the book but for a US friend since they don't seem to be getting the Adult cover across the pond and she wanted that.... but I'm tempted to read it even though I haven't read 3 and 4 which is a bit of a cheat but hmmmm I wonder who dies... 🙂 I hope it ain't Ron 🙁
 
I also wanna know who dies, even though I'm not even a fan of Harry Potter. Whoever knows, could they pm me telling me who dies please?
 
Just make sure people you keep the knowledge of who dies out of the hands of Terry and Soulgasm, I can just smell the trouble brewing if the answer got into their hands 😀
 
Got the book this morning. I am a BIG fan of the series but for some reason I wasn't enjoying the book as much as Goblet Of Fire. It just lacked that HP feel. But no worrys. I got to chapter nine and the HP feel is back. I'm forcing myself to take breaks ir I would finish it by tonight.

My sister got the book today too, and my mom was working at the book store that was selling them. I got a stupid Harry Potter hat and glasses... I really don't even like Harry Potter.😛 The movies were alright though. Hermiane (sp???) is just adorable.
 
Okay I get to keep my copy, lady in the US wants the kiddie cover not the adult cover... soooooo I'm gonna give it a blast... Seen the first two movies so get the jist of what happens there but the two books after those? What happens in them... a brief summary on Both PM'd would be nice lol
 
Gosh, I went to go buy my copy saturday, and they are sold out everywhere within a 5 hour radius of my for the next 2 or 3 months. Luckily my friend Jeri ordered hers in January so I can borrow it when she is done.

FE, I will try to type something up, if I have time later. I'm kinda at work right now, or I would do it.
