So, I know how we've been itching to talk about it so here ya go!

First of all, I want to complain, 'cause I already talked about how I liked it in the first thread.

Okay, so what was with all the missing characters?
Dobby
Winky
Mrs. Weasley
Bill Weasley
Charlie Weasley
Percy Weasley
And the only time we saw Sirius was as fire...

Plus, the major suckage of there only being 2 actual classroom scenes...Although, the scene of potions class where Snape was being abusive was quite funny.

I wish to complain about the serious lack of Mrs. Weasley getting on to the twins before the World Cup, then nearly smothering them when they returned due to the Death Eater incident... And I was a bit disappointed with the few classroom scenes... I'll probably come up with some more complaints later... Maybe...

I am so glad that they left that stuff out! I would have like to see Percy because he was supposed to have a big role, but the rest of the stuff was expendable. I really hated the other movies, they did not do the book justice. They were trying to cram to much in but this time they concentrated on what was important and really fully developed them, And I loved this movie, I thought it was brilliant!

I thought the missing bits were disgraceful, not just missing characters, but scenes too, some of which are kind of curcial in the conceding books, such as percy and even maybe dobby and winky!

A further criticism when did dumbledore get so aggressive, he's never been like that in the books but he was overly so in this film

Also can i just add with all the money the actors from these films are making maybe some, not all should get acting lessons, mentioning no names *cough* daniel radcliffe* cough and also hermione, although i have to say the adult actors are good aswell as the actor who plays ron.

I was a bit disappointed with what they cut out.

Emma's acting was ok but not the greatest. A bit over the top dramiatic for my liking. She kept forcing her lines out which makes it slower.

I remember the scene with Snape and the boys. Loved it when he roled up his sleeves and then proceeded to hit them 😀 Although I thought it was a Study Hall or something cos it didn't look like Potions Class.

Also I got the impression that the relationship bewtween the three was more Harry and Hermione than Ron and Hermione.

The DVD should be coming out in April 2006, which is good cos we wont have to wait that long 😀

i thought the movie was a total let down, but i have said that about every one of them. They missed out so much stuff that lost the effect of the climax when harry comes face to face with voldemort ( which when i read the book my imagination made much more exciting than the director obviously pictured it) And why was Dobby and pixie not in it, i loved dobby in the previous movie! You would think with all the hype about it they would make sure it was going to be a fantastic flick- but it just wasn't

I lvoed it but the skipping of the World Cup match kinda put me off. And not seeing Dobby and Winky was kinda sad. Teh did sorta skip the whole SPEW story line....

Yeah, SPEW. I can't believe they cut that out. Some very important parts were removed so that anybody watching future movies without reading any books is gonna be majorly confused. When they cut out the World Cup scene, I was pretty much out of the being excited part of watching the movie. And it went downhill from there. So much so that when Cedric died I was sorta like "Eh, I was expecting it." But, I started crying when Harry brought his body back. That was really sad, because they were all cheering and then you could see people's faces noticing that something was wrong.

Finally someone who agrees with me! The way he was to Harry when his name came out the Goblet is not how it was done in the book and not how Dumbledore would react. I don't like the new Dumbledore, I know they had no choice but to re-cast the role but Richard Harris was everything I imagined him to be.

I still feel that this movie should have been split into two, for a start they would have made more money, it never did Lord of the Rings any harm. There was just so much missed out that things were just left hanging.

I was pleased to see the return of Lucius Malfoy as he is one of my favourite characters. Voldermort was well done, as was Moody.

I have to admit that I also cried when Neville was forced to watch that spider under the curse just like his parents were tortured, and I did shed a tear for Cedric.

My next issue is that if elements of this story were chopped to accomdate others then what will the next two books be like as both The Order of the Phoenix and the Half Blood Prince are long books.

I'm pretty gutted that I didn't get to see Winky as she sounded so cute. Nice to see David Tennant in there though 😉

OK, i saw this and must say how annoyed i was with it. The whole movie just felt like lets get too much in in such a short time....i mean the script writer should be shot...that opening at the quidditch was terrible....and WHY wasn't Rita exposed as an animagus...grrr...
Ohh and who the hell was Michael Gambon playing because that was NOT Albus Dumbledore.....
Ludo Bagman and the Twins soryline was needed because that adds to the 5th and 6th movie....the maze...where were my blast-ended screwts
the only part that wasnt a complete let down was Cedric/Voldemorte/Harry/Deatheaters and Harry's initial comeback with the body....

The acting in the movie of the 'stars' hell Neville was better then Harry, Hermininny and and Ron...and what the hell was that character they made Krum into.......

ohhh so annoyed, so so so so so so so annoyed....
Dont get me started on Snape...Did they pay Rickman extra wages instead of actor......

Because of the way the first three movies have been one book, you couldn't have had this as a two movie one...

However, for me, books 1-3 should have been blockbuster movies....4, 5 and 6 should have been made into a fantastic three season show, that way you can keep everything in, the actors that are in the movie could do it, as i'm sure that these shows would not have to fear cancellation and would demand HIGH revenue, they would also be a huge DVD sales....meaning it would make as much as the movies...then the finale book, thats the return to the cinema....make it a huge extravaganza....hell even two movies like the Kill Bill duo.....on in the Summer Hols, the final final at Christmas....

ohhh GOF, for me a true fan, annoyed more then pleased...

though i cannot deny the effects were cool.

Ohh and Director....This was Harry Potter not Four Weddings and a Yule Ball!!!

ha, this made me laugh!!
personally, i liked the movie...i admit, Daniel's acting was pants...but having never read the book, i can't complain about stuff being left out cause i don't know what was left out.

yeah the book is way better than the movies i reckon but i really liked this film... yes they did leave alot of stuff out which was disappointing but the other movies let alot of stuff out too... i do love it but they could have done soooo much more!!!

Wasn't as good as Prisoner, but better than Chamber and Sorceror's stone. That's my thoughts on the matter 😉
