Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in Theaters Everywhere!

I know a lot of people who have seen all the movies "“ and love them, but still haven't read any of the books *cough* Fran *cough*..

Me and my friends finally saw the movie yesterday, and I really loved it. I wish they would've been able to make it even longer though, of course.. The beginning felt a bit.. well, a bit too much happened a bit too fast there in my opinion, like how little we got to see from the Quidditch World Cup. Other than that I loved the beginning, everything looked really great and was shot awesomely.. It was still a really good movie. Definitely my favourite of the HP movies, so far. The actors are really getting good now (started becoming real actors in PoA but were actually good in this one)..

Honestly, even though I loved this movie oh so much, I don't really get how people can love them without having read the books. You miss so much information..

Oh OM, for shame...I would've expected a literary titan of your repute to be checking out the competition 😉

Don't be put off by the children's book label - the Harry Potter books are a great read. Hey, Stephen King is a confessed JK Rowling fan, so I must be right🙂

No need to go to Siberia...as you're a pal, I'll let you off with a little light self-flagellation...waddya mean, you'll be doing that tonight anyway? 😉
 
This movie rocked harder than anything has ever rocked before. It rocked so hard that an entire small town in Iowa went mad after viewing it. It rocked so hard that Jimi Hendrix temporarily rose from the dead to ask "What's rockin' so hard?". In short, it 'twas good.

I saw it with my whole clan (parents, sister and brother-in-law, and my nieces). Parts of it confused the hell out of my mother, who is the only one of us who has not read the books (she didn't understand who Sirius was when he appeared in the fireplace, small stuff like that), but on the whole everyone was quite pleased. Except the denizens of that small town in Iowa who are now, as previously mentioned, stark raving mad.
 
blah people round here havent got a clue. i laughed my arse off when Jarvis Cocker had his cameo. knowone reconised him. dunno whats wrong with them!

And as for the rest of you who are wandering around blindly 'cause you no read-y. I'm so ashamed...😛 Come on. The books are great and I don't know how you even follow the movies, without having read them, 'cause the movies are great but they don't even put in 1/2 of the information in the books.

HPTGOF: This movie had a lot of stuff missing. I'm not gonna go into it here, but it did. Check out the new thread I'm fixing to make on the discussion of the movie.
 
I skipped my morning classes today to go and see this movie 😉(instead of comming in at 9am I came in at 2.00pm, lol) It is so good, If you add all the other ones together it would not even come close to this one, it was amazing!
