Anyone listened to the new full cast audiobooks yet? I think the first 2 are out so far.

I feel like Stephen Fry should be in it somewhere, even just as a ghost that's only in the background.

I am currently re-listening to the Stephen Fry version of the audiobooks - something i do periodically. I could not abide Jim Dale and only made it thru those once.

I read the books as they came out then watched all the movies. I find 3 & 5 the hardest to watch, read or listen to; though for very different reasons. Would love to hear a full cast version but i mostly dont like abridged books and most "full cast" books seem to be - probably due to cost.

I think it's an audible exclusive, but I don't think it's abridged.

I have been looking for the new full-cast audios in my library's database, but no luck so far. I hadn't heard of the Fry versions. I'm listening to the Jim Dale ones now, and I also do not care for his style - the way he constantly elongates words as the only way to express emotions! But I have no alternative.

Saw the new trailer for the television series. I'm hoping I can watch it, and it's not week by week, or I'll wait until its all released to start the subscription.

It looks pretty good from the trailer, but we'll see. I've learned to be cautiously optimistic 😉
