Harry Potter Ship

Harry and Cho all the way. Imagine switching from complicated and interesting to your best friend's baby sister.

Haha I couldn't disagree more! I really didn't like Cho, in both the book and movie, but especially the movies. I found it really odd that she was with Cedric but had a thing for Harry and after his death starts going out with Harry. But more important, I just found she had no personality.

On the flip side I adore Ginny, especially book Ginny, who is brilliant and one badass girl. She's one of my favourite character, and I like that she actually has a friendship with the other characters in the group.

I liked that there was a struggle with Cho. She was very much her own person. Wünderkind was just too easy, for lack of a better word I hasten to add. I grew up with the Potter books, but I was not as invested in the last two. That may be part of the reason why I never warmed to Ginny.

I must admit I was disappointed with Ron and Hermoine. It would be like Willow ending up with Xander. How about Luna and Hermie? Ooooooh!

My favourite book is Half Blood Prince so maybe that's why I love Ginny so much. Although I really started liking her character in Order, that's when you realize she's no longer 11yo Ginny from Chamber.

I actually like Ron/Hermione, but I understand why they wouldn't really work long term. What I don't get is a lot of people ship Harry/Hermione and to me they are the best example of pure friendship between boy/girl. At least with Ron it was always implied that there was some feelings involved. But if we're gonna go completely non cannon, I wouldn't have minded Hermione/Ginny. If only to see Ron's and Harry's reaction!
 
I was never a canon ship fan, but I do understand why they are that way. I think my issue with it stems from me reading really good fanfics before the books had finished being published, with different pairings. While I do love Half Blood Prince I don't however like Order of the Phoenix or Deathly Hallows all that much. Ginny does improve during the books as does Ron, but either of them are that complimentary personality wise to Harry and Hermione. Not that I ship those two either, to me they are family, more brother/sister best friends than anything romantic.
 
I did not like Harry with Ginny or Cho (I found them both pretty bland and annoying), and on rereads I'm not crazy about Hermione/Ron either. I like Harry/Hermione the best--to me it seems they care about each other and respect each other the most. I kind of like Hermione/Luna and Hermione/Fleur as well.
 
I guess now is as good a time as any to share one of my favorite love songs featuring a HP ship...

I"m just reading Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince 😉 I love this book, it is exciting ! This topic makes me realize that in Harry Potter I do not like any couple.
Harry and Ginny do not interest me at all. I find Harry's feelings suddenly appearing. In the 5 he is thoroughly on Cho and there he makes crises of jealousy because Ginny goes out with other guys 😵. It does not seem coherent at all. Maybe it's just me but these two together doesn't cause me any feelings. And Hermione/Ron, I have no opinion. It's not original or very interesting. The best relationship for me is Harry / Hermione !
 
I agrre i like Harry With Luna and Ginny with Michael Corner and Ron with Fleur and Hermonie with Viktor and Neville with Hannah, and Draco with Asteria-Luna Potter, Ginerva Corner, Fleur Weasley, Hermonie Krum, Asteria Malfroy.
 
Ron and Lavender were fun, I did think that worked as it was someone fun and light or him to be with, I always thought Hermione was too serious or Ron
 
I've always been Ron/Hermione since the first book! I'm really boring when it comes to ships lol

I'm with you! I actually enjoy the canon ships in Harry Potter. I love Ginny ( book Ginny) and think she's perfect for Harry. And I love Ron and Hermione..what a great balance. I'm going by the books of Course, I am not a fan of the movies .
 
I have never been on board the Harry/Hermoine ship. I love their friendship, and it's nice to see a real loving platonic friendship between a girl and a boy. I like their sibling relationship much better than anything romantic . Just my opinion 🙂

Im not fan of movie, they destroy it. Ginny is prettier and nicer then one in movie, and they have Bill/Fleur together, i wonder how they know each other, since Bill is not in goblet of fire movie , and there were no mention of them in Order of the phoenix, and they are not in halfblood prince movie, and wonder how bill get scar by werewolf.
 
And i think Harry potter should be with Luna, and Ginny with Michael Corner and Neville with Parvait and Hannah with Erine and Ron with Fleur and Hermonie with Viktor in movie.
