Which quotes do you think is the harshest quotes that have ever been said on Buffyverse? Like it hurts the listener a LOT.

These are what I can think of

Fool For Love
Buffy(to Spike): You're beneath me.

The Prom
Buffy: I want my life to be with you.
Angel: I don't.

Blood Ties
Dawn(to Joyce): Don't tell me what to do. You're not my mother.

Your first one was the one I thought of.
Taake

oh gees, that prom quote takes it outta me every time >S
Choices
Willow (to Faith): You know, it didn't have to be this way. But you made your choice. I know you had a tough life. I know that some people think you had a lot of bad breaks. Well, boo hoo. Poor you. You know, you had a lot more in your life than some people. I mean, you had friends like Buffy. Now you have no one. You were a Slayer and now you're nothing. You're just a big selfish, worthless waste.

Not entirely unwarranted, but it certainly hurt.

Ouch at the boo hoo part. *_*

I wanted to kiss Willow in that scene. And I'm not always a fan of the Crackwhore. It was extremely warranted. Faith seduced Buffy's boyfriend, strangled Xan, framed B for murder, spied on them for their enemies, etc.
Kate: Who are you? (to Buffy)
Angel: She's nobody.

Such a small little exchange but it makes me go 🙁

I always thought Angel was trying to protect Buffy when he said that, keep her from getting involved.
Warren to mind-controlled Katrina in Dead things:

"Get on your knees."

Not sure if it counts as harsh, or just disgusting.

But:

The Prom
Buffy: I want my life to be with you.
Angel: I don't.

makes me hurt so much inside (even tough I now think Buffy deserves someone better), specially when I think of how he's ready to start a new relationship with Cordelia just a couple of years later, but in The Prom, he's acting as if Buffy needed to grow without him. But what, Cordelia didn't? I never trully got why he left. I guess I have to blame fear.

I don't understand what you mean by Angel moving to Cordelia just a couple years later... Buffy was with Riley and Spike before Angel even considered a real relationship.
Buffy in Angel "Sanctuary": "I have someone in my life now. That I love. It's not what you and I had. It's very new. You know what makes it new? I trust him. I know him." I watched that and I was...just...yeesh.

I agree. She was angry, and I get why, but I think that was bellow the belt.
^ yeah the Sanctuary quote of Buffy to Angel..."someone I trust" makes me hurt! And also, "you found someone new...I am not allowed to remember? I see you again, it cuts me up inside..." God I can't bear it!

Also what Spike says to Principal Wood about his mother. That slayers love their missions more than their children. I didn't like that.

Also, in when she was bad, Buffy again treated Angel badly. When he was in her room(awwww) and she wakes up and tells him that it's dinner time for him, or sth like that. And afterwards in Bronze..."there is no us". I know she is crazy about him but the way she treats him...:eek2:

Ah, I almost forgot about that Bangel scene. And when she turned to tell him she missed him, he's already left.
The Prom
Buffy: I want my life to be with you.
Angel: I don't.

Girl, I agree with you, my heart just stops when he says that :S

This quote should break my poor little Bangel heart but it doesn't. I have always heard as Angel saying he didn't want Buffy's life to be with him rather than he not wanting his life to be with her.

Which, honestly, is a totally different situation as far as I am concerned.

The worst for me is Empty Places

Dawn to Buffy:...you can't stay here

Look, I love you, but you can't be a
part of this. You can't be here. I
don't think... I don't think you can
face this at all. This one you have
to sit out.

I'm sorry. It's my house, too.
Either you let Faith handle things...
or you have to leave.

even being diametrically opposite to you on the Bangel scale, I read that "I don't" the same way you did. :)

I will always hate Dawn for saying that.
Tome

It wasn't only Dawn in that scene that disgusted me, but I agree.
From Innocence:

Angelus: It was a good time. Alright? It doesn't mean like we have to make a big deal.
Buffy: It *is* a big deal.
Angelus: It's what? Bells ringing, fireworks, a dulcet choir of pretty little birdies? Come on, Buffy. It's not like I've never been there before.
Buffy: Don't touch me.
Angelus: I should've known you wouldn't be able to handle it.
Buffy: Angel! I love you.
Angelus: Love you, too.
[turns away]
Angelus: I'll call you

Probably the quote from Sanctuary:

Buffy: "You should have told me what was going on."
Angel: "I didn't - I didn't think it was your business."
Buffy: "Not my business?"
Angel: "I needed more time with Faith. I'm not sure.."
Buffy: "You needed - Do you have any - idea what it was like for me to see you with her? That you went behind my back..."
Angel: "Buffy, this wasn't about you! This was about saving somebody's soul. That's what I do here, and you're not a part of it. - That was your idea, remember? We stay away from each other."
Buffy: "I came here because you were in danger."
Angel: "I'm in danger every day. You came because of Faith. You were looking for vengeance."
Buffy: "I have a right to it."
Angel: "Not in my city."
Buffy turns away for a moment then turns back.
Buffy: "I have someone in my life now. (Angel looks away from her but otherwise doesn't move) That I love. (Angel swallows hard) It's not what you and I had. - It's very new. (She steps closer) You know what makes it new? - I trust him. - I know him."
Angel lets out a sharp breath: "That's great. - It's nice - you moved on. - I can't. You found someone new. - I'm not allowed to, remember? I see you again it cuts me up inside and the person I share that with is me! You don't know me anymore. So don't come down here with your great new life and expect me to do things your way. - Go home!"

I'm not sure who was more harsh, Buffy or Angel...

Also, when Gunn was fake breaking up with Fred in Double or Nothing:

FRED: I know something's wrong. Just be
honest and tell me. Whatever it is
we'll get through it together.

GUNN: No. We won't.

FRED: What?

GUNN: This isn't somethin' we're gonna talk
through, you share your feelings, I
share mine, then we have a big hug.

FRED: I don't think I like the way you're
talking to me.

GUNN: (even colder) Too bad.

FRED: Why are you... why are you being so
mean?

GUNN: I'm being honest. Isn't that what
you want?

FRED: Yeah. Be honest.
Is it me?

GUNN: Wow. You finally figured that one out.
Fred swallows hard.

FRED: What -- what's wrong with me?

GUNN: Now I gotta make a list? I really
don't have that much time.

FRED: Are you joking?

(His look tells her he's not.)

FRED: Charles... what's happening?

GUNN: What's happening, girl, is you and me
are over. Done.

FRED: No --

GUNN: Am I askin'? I'm tellin'. I've had
enough.

FRED: I don't believe you.

GUNN: Best start.

(He gets up to go.)

FRED: But... wait... is there someone else?

FRED: What... what's her name?

(He moves over to her, towering over her.)

GUNN: Her name is "I'm a real woman, not a
stick figure." Get the picture?

(Fred just looks up at him. Tears streaming.)

GUNN:Speak up.

FRED: (tiny)...yeah.

GUNN: Good. See ya' around.

Wow, I forgot about that part with Gunn. That was really bad, yup.
SPIKE: No, you don't. I've tried to make it clear to you, but you won't see it. (pauses) Something happened to me. The way I feel ... about you ... it's different. And no matter how hard you try to convince yourself it isn't, it's real.
BUFFY: I think it is.

Beat. He looks at her.

BUFFY: For you.

🙁

As much as the 'I don't' quote from Angel in The Prom is really sad, I've never really taken it seriously. I have always seen him saying that as a lie, pretty much. He takes too long to say it for me that it I've always just thought it was something he said, that he didn't actually mean, but it was the only way he could get her to accept it...or something.

The 'I think you've taught me everything I need to know' line to Giles from Buffy in S7.

And I really cannot stand what Buffy starts going on about Faith in Empty Places and dragging up her past to all the potentials. Not necessarily a specific quote, but that whole bit of the scene really annoys me and I really feel for Faith having everything that she's fought so hard to move on from thrown back in her face.

Uff, yeah, that was harsh, what Buffy said to Giles.
"What I want is the Spike that's dangerous. The Spike that tried to kill me when we first met."

I understand where she's coming from, but her attitude annoyed me in that scene--they can't all be you, Buffy! Also, she hated him the whole time he was soulless Spike. How awful for him to finally change completely and then hear that the woman he changed for wishes he were still the demon she hated.

Dead Man's Party:

Joyce: You know what, that's it, you and I are going to have a talk. You know what? I don't care. I don't care what your friends think of me or you for that matter because you put me through the wringer Buffy, I mean it. And I've had enough. Do you have any idea what it's been like? You can't imagine, months of not knowing whether you're lying in a ditch somewhere or, I don't know, living it up?
Buffy: But you told me. You're the one who said I should go. You said if I leave this house you don't come back. You found out who I was and you couldn't deal, don't you remember?
Joyce: Buffy, you didn't give me time. You just dumped this thing on me and you expected me to get it. Well guess what, Mom's not perfect, okay? I handled it badly, but that doesn't give you the right to punish me by running away.
Buffy: Punish you? I didn't do this to punish you.
Xander: Well you did. You should've seen what you put her through.
Buffy: Great, thanks. Anybody else want to weigh in here? How about you by the dip?
Jonathan: I'm good.
Xander: Maybe you don't want to hear it Buffy, but taking off like you did was incredibly selfish and stupid.
Buffy: Okay, okay I screwed up, I know this. But you have no idea. You have no idea what happened to me, or what I was feeling.
Xander: Did you even try talking to anybody?
Buffy: There was nothing that anybody could do. I just had to deal with this on my own.
Xander: Yeah and you see how that one worked out. You can't just bury stuff Buffy. It'll come right back up to get you.
Buffy: As if I could've even gone to you Xander. You made your feelings about Angel and I perfectly clear.
Xander: Look, I'm sorry that your honey was a demon, but most girls don't hop a greyhound over boy troubles.
Cordelia: Time out Xander, put yourself in Buffy's shoes for just a minute, okay. I'm Buffy, freak of nature. So naturally I have a freak of nature boyfriend. And then he turns into Mr. Killing Spree, which is pretty much my fault-
Buffy: Cordy, get out of my shoes!
Cordelia: I'm just trying to help, Buffy.
Willow: Buffy, you never-
Buffy: Willow, please. I can't take this from you too.
Xander: Let her finish! You at least owe her that.
Buffy: God, Xander! Could you at least stick to annoying me on your own behalf?
Xander: Fine! You stop acting like an idiot, I'll stop annoying you.
Buffy: Oh, you wanna talk acting like an idiot, Nighthawk?
Oz: Okay, gonna step in now and referee guy.
Willow: No, let them go, Oz. Talking about it isn't helping, we might as well try some violence.
*ZOMBIE CRASH*

I feel like I'm not the only one who both felt incredibly sorry for Buffy in this scene and also wanted the scene to continue so we could see Buffy run Xander's face into the pavement.

Buffy run Xander's face into the pavement. LOL! I agree though, I felt for Buffy there.
Willow was pretty harsh in Season 6. Here are a couple of lines that miss Addicted-And-Controlling said that made me cringe:

WILLOW(to Giles): You're right. The magicks I used are very powerful. I'm very powerful. And maybe it's not such a good idea for you to piss me off.
/Flooded

TARA: Willow, you are using too much magic. What do you want me to do, just, just sit back and keep my mouth shut?
WILLOW: Well, that'd be a good start.
TARA: If I didn't love you so damn much I would!

The scene with Tara, I agree with.
This is the scene that I always find the harshest. I tend to side with Xander over most stuff, but his mention of Jenny I always find hard to hear. I just feel bad for Giles in that moment.

Xander
: Hi! For those of you who have just tuned in, everyone here is a crazy person. So this spell might restore Angel's humanity? Well, here's an interesting angle. Who cares?

Buffy: I care.

Xander: Is that right.

Giles: Let's not lose our perspective here, Xander.

Xander: I'm Perspective Guy. Angel's a killer.

Willow: Xander...

Buffy: It's not that simple.

Xander: What? All is forgiven? I can't believe you people!

Cordelia: Xander has a point.

Xander: You know, just for once, I wish you'd support me, and I realize right now that you were, and I'm embarrassed, so I'm gonna get back to the point, which is that Angel needs to die.

Giles: Curing Angel seems to have been Jenny's last wish.

Xander: Yeah? Well, Jenny's dead.

Giles: Don't you *ever* speak of her in that tone again!

Xander: Can't you hear what I'm saying?

Buffy: Stop it! Stop it!

Willow: What do you wanna do?

Buffy: I-I don't know. What happened to Angel wasn't
his fault.

Xander: Yeah, but what happened to Ms. Calendar is.

Xander: You can paint this any way you want. But the way
I see it is that you wanna forget all about Ms. Calendar's murder so you
can get your boyfriend back.

Lilah: I'm starting to like you, Wes. Don't go making more of this than it is. I'm not one of the doe-y eyed girls of Angel Investigations. - Don't be thinking about me when I'm gone.

Wesley: I wasn't thinking about you when you were here.
