It doesn't make sense to me why he gets together with Cordelia. He left Buffy because she was young and needed a future without him. And Buffy didn't? He had decided Cordy didn't need a future without him but Buffy did? I never got that logic in the first place. My guess is that he was scared away, thought he might hurt her, then in Angel he started who accept who he was, and that he might deserve to be in a relationship. And there was Cordy. Why he didn't go to Buffy when she came back from life is beyond me, since he seemed to be in a dating mood, but I guess there was still stuff to work through. Which was apparently worked through by Chosen, when he seemed ready to get together with Buffy. Had she been without him long enough by then, so they could get together?

The man made no sense. He left for sa crappy reason, and my guess is that fear made him do it, because otherwise him getting with Cordy when he was more confident makes no sense than me.

About Buffy dating others: That didn't have anything to do with what I said. I was talking about Angel leaving, not Buffy moving on, I wasn't comparing them at all. But I will say that she did consider a real relationship, she tried with Riley. Maybe not enough, according to some, but she tried.

I can't really remember it exactly, but there was something Buffy said to Xander in season 1 that made me feel SO sorry for him.
Does anybody know what I mean and what she said?
