Well, for once I agree with you. My view is just a bit different. 😛

For a while I've wondered why EB seems to have some kind of immunity to being banned. He throws around personal insults and is constantly rude to most of the userbase. There have even been new members who almost left the boards because of the constant and unnecessary rudeness. While you probably take pride in that, I'm pretty sure that the rest of us don't want newbies to be driven away by our resident e-bully.

My question is: why don't the rules seem to apply to EB?

No one is 'immune'.

Insults come from people all over - Buffy Summers, the chief of the boards can read, and if EVER there was a time when I stepped over the mark, she has called me on it, quite rightly so.

But the problem is, when other people 'start' something and I reply in kind, then its not me that starts it, is it?

I, along with a few other members actually, have noticed a 'clique' has grown in this place and if some dares to oppose one of them, they feel the wrath of them all.
Just because a large group of people think one way, doesn't mean they are correct or 'in the right'.

People who have issue with anything I say have the ability to write to a MOD, who will then weigh up what happened, and then act accordingly - you don't like something I post, you know what to do.

The reason people 'wade' in and have a 'pop' at you is because your attitude is offensive and completely unnecessary. The way you speak to people is extremely arrogant and uncalled for. If you think that a thread is pointless, why waste your precious time responding to it. Responding in the way you did, not matter how much you try and defend it, was intentionally rude.

You have decided it was intentionally rude, doesn't make it so.

I have, often, put a single word response to threads that require no more.

Other people do that BUT they then follow with something silly like <<<need to write something for the character count>>> or whatever.

I obviously out in the correct amount of characters for my post to be viewed, I just don't fill it with 'fluff'.

The 'way I speak to people' is generally in line with how they speak to me or how they speak in a post. Nothing more, nothing less.

This was completely unnecessary, maybe I missed the joke and he does in fact know how to use it. Even if this is the case, in what way is me trying to be helpful pathetic?

In fairness that was supposed to be positive karma, but I pressed down instead of using the mouse and was about Illyrian, however I don't particularly care of your opinion on that.
Its obvious to anyone with even the meagre of intelligence that Illyrian was playing up to the comments made.

What is amazing is that you don't seem to get that one of the only pathetic people on this forum is you. Whatever is going on with you which makes behave in this manner, stop taking[ it out on the rest of us.

I will behave how I see fit, based on what people say.
As I said, people have the right to complain, and Buffy Summers will do what is right - if that is to ban me, so be it.

No there wasn't. Sweetescape is right, it was totally unnecessary and over the line.
