Has anybody seen the show Caprica?

I really want to watch Torchwood as well as Caprica, but it's so expensive for a 13-episode season. 🙁

It's actually that and a little more, it's more the saga of two families and how the creation of the cylons affects them. There's also some really great studies of religion, belief, family and the afterlife in there. It's very different in feel from BSG (I don't know if you've watched it, Blixten, but you should!), but really great, if you like that sort of thing. It can totally stand on its own though and you don't actually have to have seen BSG to understand it.

Also, that toaster is awesome!

Really? Cool. Can you recommend any sites in particular? And which should I watch first? Torchwood or Caprica?

Well there's a thread about watching online but since I haven't read it I don't know if they recommend any sites. But can be worth checking out.

As for what to watch first I'd say Caprica. Torchwood is great in many ways but more as a whole and not episode wise and it's dark and sad so wait a little with that. Even if it isn't a must it doesn't hurt to watch the Doctor Who episodes leading to Torchwood.
 
Im a huge BSG fan and just started watching Caprica. Just finished episode 2 and i like it, its quite different to BSG in that its much more low key (so far).

Can't wait to finish the first half of the season!

The OnDemand feature had a "Re-Caprica" (lol) recap of the 1st 1/2 of the season, and it looked sooo good. So, now I need to see if Netflix has it so I can catch up before delving into the next half.

OK, just found it on Netflix, although it's not available until 10/7, and is not available for instant play. Hey, what is the difference between Caprica the series and Battlestar Galactica: Caprica, the movie?
 
Just finished episode 5, it was fantastic.

Totally in love with the chick who plays Tamara. I want to marry her on top of a mountain, and then tour the country side with our family band.
