Sorry, if this was brought up before - I searched though through and hadn't found.
Just now, upon re-watching "Older and Far Away" I spotted Spike's reflection in the mirror - in that scene where Buffy throws him out the room to give him long angry speech about not bringing the "food' topic up.

I just love these things - I'm more intertested in the process of filming/assembling, than in the final product itself - such bloopers help you learn ...

wow im so oblivious, im watching the series a 3rd time and ive still barely picked up on things.

i believe Buffy is #7 t.v. show with the most mistakes... not that there's anything wrong with that, im not one of those people who like chastises them for not having everything perfect, no one expects it.

i was so considering printing out the list the next time i watch through the series, and looking for all these things just for fun. and because i have no life.

printing them out sounds like something i'd do - maybe as a variation on the Buffy drinking game?

Actually, the only blooper that gets me everytime is in season 7 when the First sends the UberVamp to the house and right before Willow does her barrier, you can totally see there's something on the door that's going to open it. It's amazing how long it's on screen and it was missed in editing.
 
Yeah, I noticed that after I watched the same video Social Suicide has posted.

I'm like LittleMissLikestoFight though and I'm not too bothered about bloopers like that. I mean it is a TV show and Spike isn't really a vampire (Well, Spike is but James isn't) and you can't expect them to get it all perfect everytime. As long as it's an excellent show, I'm not too bothered. But it is amusing to spot those things sometimes. Hehe.

Oh and thanks for the link LittleMiss (I was going to make your name all initialized but LittleMiss sounded too great to not say, haha)- It's very entertaining. 🙂

Okay, the crew and editors failing to catch the fact that a vamp was reflected on a surface somewhere I can deal with. There's a million things to get done on set and in post, so I can more or less let that slide--but there is one GIANT gaffe that makes me cringe Every. Single. Time.

In S2 when Spike double-crosses Angel, how does he overpower Dru? He STRANGLES HER UNTIL SHE PASSES OUT. And they had made a such a point in the previous season of stating the fact that Angel couldn't revive Buffy because he doesn't breathe! But apparently, despite the fact that no part of their biology is being interrupted, pressure to the throat will cause a vamp to PASS OUT??!!

It doesn't ruin the ep for me, but when it first clicked in my head while I was re-viewing it, I ended up laughing so hard I had to turn the DVD off.
 
^ This was discussed in another thread, where I believe the general consensus was that he put her in a sleeper hold which would cut off the blood flow (I know, but obviously they have SOME sort of blood flow) or nerve impulses to the brain.
 
Maybe he was injecting her with some drug, just out of sight of the camera. Or it was just meant to cause her pain until she passed out? Or a secret nerve pinch taught only to vampires hundreds of years ago by a time travelling vulcan?

Yeah, I don't take these mistakes as seriously as I should, I guess. 😉
 
There's one I immediately noticed upon first viewing... Ghost!Willow in S2 "Halloween" being told by Giles-soon-to-go-Ripper to leave Ethan's shop. She turns and leaves... and we hear the jingle and snap of the shop door being used. Guess Aly wasn't as immaterial as Willow was supposed to be at the time. :tongue05:
 
While we're on the topic of s2: does anybody else get a bit confused with the language used for the gypsy curse? People always said the curse was in Romanian, but, and correct me if I'm wrong, don't gypsy people speak Romani?
